Its foliage gives a beautiful speckled effect, making it a perfect statement piece for shelves or hanging planters. Like most Hoyas, it is hardy, low-maintenance, and rewarding to grow.
Light: The Hoya Silverspot loves bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch its leaves, while too little light may reduce its silver variegation. A spot near an east- or west-facing window is ideal.
Water: This plant prefers to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly when the soil has dried at least halfway down the pot, ensuring good drainage. Overwatering can cause root rot, while underwatering is tolerated thanks to its succulent-like leaves. In winter, reduce watering significantly.
