Carmen Vélez Castera --conocida como maestra Carmen-- estudió psicología y Educación especial. En el 2023 celebra 44 años trabajando como maestra de grados preescolar y elemental. Muy joven empezó a tomar clases de canto, lo que le permitió hacerles coro a reconocidos cantantes tanto locales como internacionales. Fue estudiante del Ballet de San Juan y actualmente pertenece a la organización Dance Educators of América, Inc. Ha tomado distintos cursos en La Liga de Arte de San Juan en varias disciplinas. Fue una de las presentadoras del programa de televisión "Mi Rincón Educativo" de la Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico (UIPR) y ha escrito más de veinte cuentos para niños. Navidad en Puerto Rico es su más reciente, basado en su experiencia personal.

The rods in between in each link aren’t solid rods at all! They’re made up of almost long, thin staples that bend and break EXTREMELY easily. Taking them off is incredibly difficult to begin with! I’ve removed links on hundreds of watches, it’s not my first rodeo, it has never been this ridiculously difficult due to extremely cheap materials. I wish I could give this a negative 100, never seen a cheaper watch. It’s extremely light and looks nothing like the picture either. Seriously, don’t waste your time. It’s the worst, cheapest watch you can buy. I shouldn’t expect better from Amazon.
