He captures the big events well and also the consequences of most of the actions of the Prophet that make you reflect on decisions made. This naturally allows the reader to compare the policy and state of the Prophet compared to today’s policies and states. However, the publishing company had done a poor job of printing and editing as there were tons of repetition and grammar issues that made me have to double back and reread things more than I should have. Also, Hamidullah omits or glosses over some events that require more thought and understanding. Overall a very good learning experience and insight on a major influential individual in history.
