and arranged in saltire with, in the intervening spaces, a rose, a thistle, a
sprig of shamrock and a leek; in the centre the Crown and in the base the date.
Edge: Reeded
Issued to celebrate the British Exhibition in New York, USA at which The
Royal Mint had a stand demonstrating the coins being struck. The prooflike
polished die varieties were the pieces struck in New York and excess examples
were shipped back to the UK. The reverse design was that used for the Queen's
coronation in 1953 with the date being changed and having a reeded edge rather
than incuse lettering.
This coin was not included in demonetization legislation when
decimalization was introduced in 1971. It has been confirmed by the Royal Mint
that the coin remains legal tender, having been remonetized with a value of 25
pence.
The standard weight of these coins was 10/11 troy ounce (436.4 grains).
Under the Coinage Act of 1946, the composition changed from .500 silver to .750
copper/.250 nickel but the weight remained unchanged.

Magnificent! Absolutely magnificent! I never thought I would enjoy them this much. I was such a mess before these came into my life. So soft and supple yet thick and tough. I can't get enough! High Quality Paper Towels That Actually Last

These are easily some of the best paper towels we’ve used. The cloth-like feel makes a noticeable difference right away. They’re soft but still very strong, and they hold up well even when wet without tearing apart.
Absorbency is excellent, so you don’t need to use multiple sheets to clean up a mess. One sheet usually gets the job done, which makes them more efficient than most standard options. They’re also thick enough to handle tougher cleaning without falling apart.
Overall, great quality and very reliable. The whole family uses them, and they’ve held up well for everything we need.

Best paper towel ever - honestly they don’t feel like paper, they’re soft almost like an actual towel. These are the best for wiping my kids faces and hands because they’re soft and don’t fall apart. Also great for pets because I can scrub my carpet when my dog has an accident and the paper towel does not shred. 10/10 recommend these. They also don’t unravel and fling all over the place so I like to have a roll by my back door for the dogs paws, super convenient. The roll kind of sticks to itself so it stays tidy.

The reason I say these are the best paper towels is because they are more like a cloth than actual paper. If you're doing something larger like cleaning the kitchen sinks you can usually get by with just one. You can wet it down, ring it out and continue working. When it's time to dry, these soak up so much more liquid than any other towel... It's crazy! They are a bit on the expensive side, but you'll use so fewer towels that it makes up the difference.
