L008 Leopard Pleco Peckoltia SpOverview: The L008 Leopard Pleco, scientifically known as Peckoltia sp., is a stunning pleco species recognized for its attractive leopard-like pattern of black spots on a golden-brown body. This eye-catching and peaceful bottom-dweller is an excellent addition to any freshwater aquarium, offering both beauty and utility.
Origin: Native to the fast-flowing rivers of the Amazon Basin in South America, the L008 Leopard Pleco is typically found in rocky, well-oxygenated waters. Its natural habitat includes areas with strong currents, abundant driftwood, and plenty of hiding places.
Feeding: L008 Plecos are omnivorous, with a preference for a balanced diet that includes both plant-based and protein-rich foods. Provide them with high-quality sinking pellets or wafers, supplemented with fresh vegetables like zucchini, cucumber, and spinach. They also enjoy live or frozen foods such as bloodworms and brine shrimp.
Tank Mates: The L008 Leopard Pleco is a peaceful species that does well in a community tank with other non-aggressive fish. Ideal tank mates include tetras, rasboras, Corydoras catfish, and peaceful cichlids. Ensure the tank has plenty of hiding spots like caves and driftwood, which will help the pleco feel secure and reduce stress.
Aggression: Generally peaceful, the L008 Leopard Pleco may become slightly territorial with other bottom-dwellers, especially in smaller tanks. Providing ample space and multiple hiding places will help prevent any territorial disputes and ensure harmony in the tank.
Experience Level: Beginner to Intermediate. The L008 Leopard Pleco is a hardy species that can adapt to a variety of water conditions, making it suitable for both novice and experienced aquarists. With proper care and attention to water quality, this pleco will thrive in most well-maintained aquariums.
Water Parameters: To keep L008 Plecos healthy, maintain water temperatures between 75-82°F (24-28°C), a pH of 6.5-7.5, and soft to moderately hard water (5-12 dGH). A well-filtered tank with moderate water flow, plenty of hiding places, and a substrate that mimics their natural rocky habitat is ideal.
In summary, the L008 Leopard Pleco is a beautiful and hardy bottom-dweller that enhances the visual appeal and diversity of any aquarium. Its striking appearance, peaceful nature, and manageable care requirements make it an excellent choice for aquarists looking to add a unique and dependable pleco to their collection.

Picky dog approved!

I have wasted so much money on dog balls that they won't even pick up! They finally were obsessed with the Kong rubber green/blue or red/blue ones, but they're $3+. each, and they break from the dogs squishing it. I honestly had zero expectations on these, and they BOTH picked them up on the first throw! That's huge!!
Seem to work fine in the ChuckIt.
As for the squeaker, at first I was like "Oh nooooo." when they both loudly started! Much to my (and my neighbors') happiness, the squeakers stopped working after a couple minutes. 🤣

Durable
Color: S6-muti-color
The balls are great for chewers. The squeaky didn’t last long but they are perfect for the ball launcher.

The squeeker isn't durable, but the balls themselves are.

I have two 70+lb, ball obsessed dogs (a field bred Golden Retriever, and an Old Time Scotch Collie), and these balls are living up to the abuse they're receiving.
In the fall we always lose a ball or two in the yard due to getting lost in leaves or longer grass, so I always try and buy a multi pack at the start of the season, so went with these this year. I'm glad I did. Great price for a 6 pack, they fit the medium Chuck-It launcher (a little loosely, but they throw just fine), have great bounce, they FLOAT (which means I didn't lose any at the beach), and they're super durable to the dreaded "mouth squish." The squeaker dies pretty quick, like, within a day, but it isn't the kind that can fall out or choke your dog, so no worries there.
The boys are happy, I'm happy, my wallet is happy - I've already ordered another pack.
