The Titanium Slide and Carb Cap are standard parts for the Core XL Deluxe and can serve as an upgrade for use with the Core XL, over the original heat dissipating Stainless Steel Slide. Being Titanium and lacking the heat dissipating fins they make device a little lighter over but can also improve the flavour in some circumstances.

Having a Titanium carb cap instead of the anodized Aluminium one also provides a hardier setup, since with the anodized one, after a lot of heavy use and regular aggressive cleaning the anodized coating can start to wear over time. 

These can also be used with the Core 2.0, when running an XL Heater setup, so if you've upgraded your heater to the larger ones, these provide a better experience being that they're set up for the new taller heaters.
