Compact growing and spreading low to the ground succulent, dark-green foliage forms a dense mat, and Ice Plant starts to bloom profusely in late spring or early summer producing masses of small, glossy, daisy-like flowers in white, pink, yellow, orange, apricot, reddish-purple and magenta colors.
