The Tamiya 1/32 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XVIe (60321) reproduces one of the most refined late-war Spitfire variants — the Mk.XVIe powered by the Packard-built Merlin 266 and fitted with the E-wing armament of two 20mm cannons and two .50 calibre Browning machine guns. The Mk.XVI served with the RAF in the final year of the European war in the ground attack and high-level air superiority roles, and many carried the distinctive clipped wings for improved low-altitude performance.

First impressions: 1. The watch has features unexpected at this price point: a. Stainless case (claimed) and back b. Glass, not plastic, crystal c.
