Donatello, known as Don or Donnie to his brothers, is the scientist, inventor, engineer, and technological genius of the group. Donatello wears a purple mask and wields a Bo staff, and is probably the least violent of the group, preferring to use his knowledge to resolve conflicts but never hesitates to defend his brothers. His name is inspired by the Renaissance artist and sculptor from Florence, Donatello (Donato di Niccolò di Betto Bardi).

From the corridors of the sewers where his headquarters is located to the tops of the tallest skyscrapers in New York, he brings justice with his family, fighting threats from this world and others.
