Je ziet meer aan Pampero Blanco dan je oog doet geloven bij deze witte rum. Een goede witte rum moet fris, puur, makkelijk te mixen en eenvoudig te drinken zijn. Blanco heeft dit allemaal, maar het is ook een oude rum, gemaakt van een mix van traditionele witte rums van maximaal 4 jaar oud. Sommige van deze rums komen uit traditionele koperen ketels zoals we die kennen van de Schotse whisky's en niet uit de column stills waar witte rum normaal vandaan komt. Rijping op oude Schotse eikenvaten lenen Pampero Blanco zijn fruitige tonen en een gouden kleur. Doormiddel van houtskoolfiltering blijft er een witte rum over. Licht, romig, zwarte bes, suikerspinnen, groene appel, banaan, toffee en vanille kan men terugvinden in de mond. Pampero Blanco drink je met veel ijs en een longdrink met cola en een partje limoen.
