De Smart HeatBar infraroodstraler is de ideale oplossing voor het efficiënt verwarmen van de badkamer. Dankzij de toepassing van hoogwaardige materialen kan de HeatBar worden ingezet voor zowel zoneverwarming als hoofdverwarming van badkamers en andere ruimtes in het huis. De modern vormgegeven elementen hebben een neutrale kleur en zijn zeer gemakkelijk te installeren en aan te sluiten.

De HeatBar infraroodstraler heeft een hoog vermogen, maar geeft geen ongewenste lichtstraling zoals bij korte golf infraroodstralers. De lange golf infrarood techniek werkt goed vanaf een omgevingstemperatuur van minimaal 5 graden Celsius. Bij lagere temperaturen zal het effect van de infrarood verwarming onvoldoende zijn om van de ruimte gebruik te kunnen maken. Onze medewerkers zijn altijd beschikbaar om advies te geven op de toepassing van dit product voor specifieke situaties.

Toepassingen & te verwarmen oppervlak

De Smart Heatbar kan in vele situaties worden toegepast, maar om het gewenste resultaat te behalen dient er rekening te worden gehouden met het type ruimte waarin de Heatbar geïnstalleerd wordt. Bij gebruik in een binnenruimte kan er voor het benodigde vermogen worden gerekend met de standaard waardes voor infrarood panelen:

  • 50 Watt per m³ voor badkamers

Bovenstaande zijn gemiddelde waarden en bedoeld als indicatie. Afhankelijk van het type woning en de isolatie kan het benodigde vermogen hoger of lager uitvallen. Bereken nu direct het benodigde vermogen per type huis, isolatieniveau en ruimte met onze handige online calculator.
Voor het toepassen van een infrarood paneel als lokale bijverwarming zijn er enkele specifieke zaken waar rekening mee moet worden gehouden in plaatsing van het paneel en het benodigde vermogen. Lees daarover hier meer.

Bediening

De Smart HeatBar kan worden gekoppeld aan de wifi en bediend middels de gratis Tuya Smart Life app. Daarnaast wordt de Heatbar geleverd met een afstandsbediening. De Smart HeatBar beschikt over 2 standen: 900 en 1800 Watt. Daarmee kan de HeatBar efficiënt voor iedere situatie worden ingesteld, zodat het altijd aangenaam warm is tegen zo laag mogelijke kosten. De gewenste stand kan gemakkelijk middels de afstandsbediening of App worden ingesteld. 

De Smart HeatBar is voorzien van een temperatuurmeter en kan hierdoor ook worden toegepast als hoofdverwarming.

Montage

De Smart HeatBar infraroodstraler kan worden gemonteerd aan het plafond of de wand. Dankzij het gemakkelijke ophangsysteem is montage op vrijwel elke plek mogelijk en gemakkelijk te realiseren. De benodigde materialen waarmee het paneel onder de gewenste hoek kan worden gemonteerd worden meegeleverd in de verpakking.

De IP classificatie van dit paneel is IP44 Dit betekent dat het waterbestendig is en mag worden toegepast in de badkamer vanaf zone 2.

De HeatBar bereikt een oppervlakte temperatuur van 250 - 350 °C. Het is daarom belangrijk om de installatie voorschriften te volgen voor een veilige installatie.

  • De geadviseerde minimale installatie hoogte vanaf de vloer is 220 cm.
  • Het verwarmingselement dient op tenminste 15 cm afstand van het plafond en 20 cm vanaf eventuele wanden te worden geplaatst.

The Real Arms Race

I am a life-long Democrat, supposed to bristle at the very idea of military spending. Brose's book convinced me the problem is not how much we spend, but what we're spending it on. "Kill chain" is military-speak for the three phases of combat -- figuring out what's going on, deciding what to do about it, and taking effective action. Brose spells out how technology changed all three phases while the Defense Department and its minders in Congress weren't paying attention. The result has been to significantly undermine our military preparedness and, more importantly, the ultimate goal of deterrence. For all the money we're spending, Brose shows how it's mostly on the wrong things, i.e., large, expensive platforms that are only incremental improvements over prior systems designed for different times. He shows how the military-industrial complex, abetted by a Congress invested in the status quo, is arming our military with technology inferior to what you'd find in a modern automobile. The development of the Internet may have been kick-started by the defense department back in the 1960s, but the information revolution that followed largely left the U.S. military behind. Meanwhile, potential adversaries are compensating for relatively lower defense budgets by exploiting emerging technologies that could change the character of war, raising multiple ethical, geo-political, and governance issues. The Kill Chain is compelling, scary, and must-reading for our political leaders and all intelligent voters.

Well written and thought-out approach to change DoD acquisition
Format: Hardcover
I'm a Navy acquisition manager and former Navy officer. I very strongly recommend this book as required reading for Pentagon (especially flag officers and SESs), congressional staffs, defense contractors and those who would be defense contractors, Silicon Valley companies, and everyone who cares about the future of the United States. The author expertly characterizes the current world situation and the issues with DoD acquisition practices. He is not brutal about it, but fair. He explains the background and history behind how we got to where we are, and identifies a path forward. I believe that following the approach recommended is very hard, but very worth while. The author worked for Senator McCain for almost ten years, and it is clear that this book benefits from his experience. My only gripe (and it is a minor one) is that very occasionally the author allows his feelings about Trump to manifest in a negative way. This is often justified, but it shouldn't be so one-sided. Nevertheless, this book is must-read, and deserves five stars.
