Een bijzondere Alliumsoort. De bloemschermen zijn meer dan 30-35cm in doorsnede. Ieder afzonderlijk bloemetje heeft een stengeltje dat varieert in lengte van 6-20 cm. Schubertii wordt ook wel de ‘vuurwerk’ Allium genoemd door de wat ‘explosieve’ bloeiwijze. Na de bloei zijn de uitgebloeide bloemschermen nog lang decoratief in de tuin. Geschikt voor verwildering. Deze Allium trekt tijdens de bloei vlinders en bijen aan.

Very lightweight but good everyday

These are great for everyday use. I use them under bowls when I microwave, to collect pieces of food that I’m going to throw away while I’m cooking. Good enough for toast or a microwaved muffin. They are lightweight and not meant for heavy amounts of food.
