Als u een keer op het eiland Sardinië bent geweest heeft u vast een glaasje Santadi wijn mogen proeven. Het is namelijk op het eiland het meest bekende en verfijnde wijnhuis van het eiland. Het is ontstaan toen in 1960 een aantal wijn boeren de handen in elkaar sloegen om samen nog betere wijnen te gaan maken. Ze deelde kennis en ervaringen en verbouwde op hun oude landerijen de mooiste druiven. Eerste instantie was het meer een bulk wijn maar dat veranderde toen Antonello Pilloni (die tot op de dag van vandaag de voorzitter is) de leiding nam en er voor koos om de aller beste wijnen te gaan maken van Sardinië. Dat si meer dan gelukt, hij nodigde oenoloog Giacomo Tachis uit om alles mee te onderzoeken. En ja Giacomo is geen onbekende in de wijn wereld, want hij werkte voor top wijn huizen. Vanaf het jaar 1970 maakt Santadi de allermooiste wijnen van van het eiland vinden wij, maar dat is ook niet gek.De oogst voor de Grotta Rossa
Santadi is gevestigd aan de zuid-west zijde van Sardinië en om precies te zijn in het Sulcis district. Ze hebben vandaag de dag wel 600 hectare aan wijngaarden verdeeld over het eiland. Voor deze rode Grotta Rossa komen de druiven uit Carignano del Sulcis. Hier worden de Carignano druiven opgevoed aan zee oude ranken die staan aangeplant in een voedzame bodem. Het fijne klimaat met veel zonneschijn en koelte van de wind geeft de Carignano druiven alles wat ze nodig hebben. Na een evenwichtig groeiseizoen worden de trossen in de vroege ochtend binnen gehaald waarna ze zachtjes en direct worden geperst.De geur en smaak van de Santadi Grotta Rossa
Het popachtige sap rijpt een aantal maanden in de kelders van Santadi voordat hij wordt verkocht. De wijn krijgt alle liefde en rust om te schitteren in het glas. Bij het inschenken zien we een Ruby rode kleur die uit het glas geurt naar rijp rood fruit met daarbij een lichte kruidigheid. In de mond heel erg zacht, veel rijp rood fruit en een zwerm van zoethout. In de afdronk een mooie lang en rijpe afdronk met indrukken van kersen en kruiden.Shipping Notes

Well Made Tools!
I have been installing Kilmat in my early 74 Datsun 260Z restoration and these tools are very nice for the price. I like them because they actually have ball bearings and move smoothly over the matting. The size selection is very handy as well and even has some nice finished wooden handles.

If you're doing a big sound deadner job, you need thees! The 3 different sizes are perfect for the different shapes in the floor pans. Well built, good quality and they have a nice weight to them. Just buy them and thank me later. For $15.00 you can't go wrong.

Bringing a 1976 MG Midget to the modern world!

I've been restoring a 1976 MG Midget barn find. I bought some Sinless liner to help make the car rattle less and feel more solid.
This product is easy to cut, easy to install, and extremely sticky. I used it to line the trunk, the interior, and even some under the hood of the old MG. The adhesive stands up to the brutal temperature of the engine bay, and when (by accident) some fuel spilled onto the foam, it didn't fall apart or turn to mush.
Thanks to Siless, the MG now feels like a modern car. The floor pans feel much more solid, the doors make a heftier thud when you close them, and the trunk no longer sounds like a percussion instrument when you touch it.
If you know what you're doing, this product will transform the feel of a car. I found that 36 sq ft was enough for my MG Midget, but for a bigger car I would want more. The pattern on the back helped me to cut perfectly measured squares and rectangles. The foam itself doesn't have a strong odor, it works super well, and has held up to several months of changing temperatures (in the Midwest US.)
