Een boekhoesje zoals deze heb je nog nooit gezien, het lijkt een beetje op een abstract kunstwerk wanneer je ernaar kijkt. Het is dan ook een compleet uniek design ontworpen door onze eigen designer. Onze designer noemt het ontwerp ‘Sea in Space’. Op de Nokia 2 Book Case zie je dan ook een combinatie van zee en een ruimte vol met sterren. Als jij houdt van zowel de zee als van science fiction dan is dit het ideale boekhoesje voor jou. Maar dit unieke hoesje heeft meer te bieden dan alleen design, je kunt er wel drie pasjes of twee pasjes en wat briefgeld in kwijt. Zo kun je jouw portemonnee lekker thuislaten als je naar de zee gaat of andere plekken van de wereld gaat ontdekken.

Arrive and packaged very well. It is lightweight...unsure if it's metal or plastic finished to look like metal...my guess is that "parts" are the latter because the knob for the froth/steam is plastic. Nonetheless, it is well made. Moreover, the price point makes it clear it can't be a premium expresso machine. I realize this doesn't sound like a great review of this product but on the contrary it is meant to say that - it is a quality machine based in the price point. I read the manual and personalized the settings for me and I have very little critique. The 2 in 1 portafilter is quality...the water dispenser "top fill" function is good; no need to remove the unit. Frother unit works well...just wish it pulled out a little more...drip tray could be wider as it's a little difficult getting a wide-mouth cup in without taking out the main tray...not a real hassle though. All in all....it's a 9.5 in my opinion. Functions are great...easy to understand and makes a great expresso, americano, latte and variable of each 👍👍 Great deal for the price!

Definitely need a napkin or towel handy. Only one drawback I can see so far. After making an espresso it takes a bit of time to cool down before it allows you to brew next one. There’s two of us so we need to stagger our espresso making. Espresso could also be a bit hotter. All in all it’s a nice machine and does the job.

A Great Price for Great Machine

I have been brewing my own espresso at home for over 20 years which means I have gone through a significant number of machines. I never purchased anything "high end" - never spent more than $140. THIS machine, for $137.79, is a GEM. I can make TWO double espressos, back-to-back without turning off the machine, and there's STILL plenty of power in the pump, and the temp remains stable - no temperature loss AND no overheating. How do we do this? We pack the LARGE basket with expresso, then hit the DOUBLE-cup once, and then a second time. AND THEN there's still plenty of power in the pump and heat to steam the milk! This means that the two of us can drink our coffees together at the same time. ALL the other machines that I used over the last 20 years, were never able to do this, because the pump would be played out after one brew, or the heater would drop in temperature OR overheat. That means one person drinks coffee while the other has to wait for round two. But GEVI changed all that. Great price for a great espresso machine!
