Het wijnbedrijf G.D. Vajra werd in 1972 door Aldo Vaira gesticht. Van zijn grootvader erfde hij wijngaarden in de hoogstgelegen gemeente van Barolo, Vergne. Met zijn vrouw Milena bouwde hij het bedrijf op, met het doel wijn te produceren onder eigen label. De wijnen worden uitsluitend van eigen druiven vervaardigd. In de loop van de jaren zijn dochter Francesca en de zonen Giuseppe en Isidoro ook in het bedrijf actief geworden. Het is een bijzonder familiebedrijf dat door veel innovatie en samenwerking met de universiteit van Turijn een reputatie heeft opgebouwd waarmee zij tot de top van de Barolo behoren. Waar Aldo Vaira ooit startte met de familie wijngaard, is het eigendom van het bedrijf in de loop der jaren uitgegroeid tot meer dan 40 ha. Het domein Luigi Baudana uit Serralunga d'Alba werd enkele jaren geleden overgenomen. De Langhe Bianco Dragon is van Chardonnay en Sauvignon Blanc stokken die Baudana begin jaren 80 aanplantte. De familie Vaira besloot om deze aanplant te koesteren op basis van laag rendement en mooi rijp fruit. Om de wijn meer diepte en verfijning te geven, wordt een klein deel van de locale druif Nascetta en de Riesling van Aldo Vaira toegevoegd. Alhoewel Giuseppe Vaira de leiding over he Baudana domein heeft, wordt de wijn door Vajra als Luigi Baudana op de markt gebracht. De oogst is handmatig en de vinificatie vindt plaats bij 16 graden in RVS. Ook de lagering is in RVS. De wijn is lichtgeel en heeft geuren van bloemen en fruitige tonen. De smaak is rond met een sappige ondertoon van rijp fruit.De Langhe Bianco Dragon komt uit de Luigi Baudana wijngaard. Na de overname ervan door de familie Vaira, is Giuseppe hier verantwoordelijk. Naast Chardonnay en Sauvignon Blanc wordt tegenwoordig voor deze wijn een klein deel Nascetta en Riesling van Aldo Vaira gebruikt. De oogst is handmatig en de vinificatie vindt plaats bij 16 graden in RVS. Ook de lagering tot de lente is in RVS. De wijn is lichtgeel en heeft geuren van bloemen en fruitige tonen. De smaak is rond met een sappige ondertoon van rijp fruit.Bijzondere, opwekkende witte wijn uit de Piemonte met florale en fruitige tonen.Heerlijk als aperitief, bij salades en als begeleider van vis en gevogelte.De Cerretta Piani wijngaard ligt in Serralunga d'Alba. De Chardonnay en Sauvignon Blanc staan op een perceel halverwege de helling. De ondergrond bestaat hier uit materiaal uit het Helvatian tijdperk.Shipping Notes

I'm Not Disappointed ...

I knew going in that my expectations shouldn't be very high because my car is a first generation 2010 Kia Soul. So its old with 16 plus years of yellowing oxidation and some abrasion. I took a chance with doing this because of the reviews and pictures. To my surprise, it worked better than I anticipated and could hope for. My driver side(left) headlight was horrible but my passenger side(right) wasn't too shabby and didn't require as much care. This would have turned out better if I had power drill attachments of the same sanding grit to do this. My arm is going to be really sore come Sunday. 😆 It wasn't too hard to follow the instructions as they were very simple for the application process. I don't know about the 2 years for it lasting, but for now, its durable. Once I drive at night, I'll be able to
But all in all, it worked for me and its better than before I tackled it. All in all it looks good, I feel like I'll have a better beam when night 🌙 driving.

Let this restoration kit light up your life

I have a car that is 24 years old and is my daily driver. Understandably, the headlight lenses have deteriorated to the point where I was using my brights exclusively at night yet never being flashed to turn them down. I got quotes between 60-80 dollars per headlight for restoration which I just wasn't willing to pay so I decided on this kit to try restoring them myself. I read reviews before I ever make a decision on a product and noticed many reviewers of other products stated that this product works better so I went ahead and purchased it. Man, am I glad I did!!!
The kit arrived late this afternoon, I opened it, READ AND FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS and within 1 1/2 hours had turned a travesty into a triumph. I started by taping around both lights with 1 inch blue painters tape to protect the paint around the lights. The kit comes with everything necessary to remove most moderate deterioration but be sure to purchase one that corresponds with your actual situation. I believe my lenses were far beyond "moderate" but with some heavy elbow grease, the correct use of both supplied sanding disks and my hose set on "mist" I was able to sand off years of damage leaving behind a smooth, albeit opaque surface. After making sure everything was totally dry using both towels and my leaf blower, I was ready for the Magic!!! I opened the first clearcoat package (while wearing the provided glove) and lightly but steadily applied the liquid with the supplied towelette and the required 50% overlapping passes. The opaque lenses instantly turned clear upon contact with the clearcoat. After waiting around 25 minutes to be sure the lenses were completely dry I opened the second package of clearcoat and applied it in the same manner as the first. I had no misses or problems with my first coat but for those who do...NOW is the time to make corrections, NOT during the first coat process. Leave things to dry for around an hour and you are done.
The end result? AWESOME, INCREDIBLE, UNBELIEVABLE...shall I go on??? Not necessary, but I can say I am thrilled with the outcome. My wife said the lights look new and I agree, there is a night and day difference between before and after.
Only time will tell how long the restoration lasts but for now I am very very happy with the results I got from this 3M product. I highly recommend it to anybody who can read, understand and follow the instructions. 5 stars all the way on this one!!!

Better than expected results. This 3M Kit needs no drill; all done by hand. Check out their videos on YouTube; follow the easy instructions. This $10 3M Kit, an hour and a half of my time, saved me over $300! What a serious savings! Thank you 3M for another fantastic product!
