In de jaren 70 begon vader Henri Miquel op zijn Château Cazal Viel de eerste Syrah druiven aan te planten. Hierdoor krijg hij vrijwel meteen de bijnaam Mr. Syrah. In 1980 verscheen de eerste wijnen van hem op de markt: een Syrah uit de Saint-Chinian. Daarnaast vocht Henri voor een aparte AOC en die kwam in 1982. Een waar hoogtepunt. Pas in 1992 plantte de familie haar eerste Viognier druiven en drie jaar later was de eerste Viognier wijn een feit. Inmiddels staat alweer de achtste generatie aan het roer, Laurent Miquel slaagt erin hoge prijzen te halen bij internationale wijn wedstrijden. De druiven worden 's nachts geoogst. Na het ontstelen ondergaan de druiven een fermentatie op gecontroleerde temperatuur. Twintig procent van de wijn heeft gedurende zes maanden gerijpt in Franse eiken vaten. Gelegen in de gemeente Cessenon in het zuidelijke deel van het gebied Saint-Chinian, op een hoogte van honderd tot tweehonderd meter. De bodem is kalk- en leemhoudend met kiezelsteen en rotsachtige ondergrond. De oppervlakte van de wijngaard is vijftig hectare. En dan krijg je uiteindelijke een typische, Zuid-Franse blend met dominante, kruidige Syrah en sappige, volle Grenache. Deze Laurent Miquel Pas de Geant Languedoc Rood heeft een rijpe neus van rood fruit, met heerlijke tonen van mokka en kruiden. Zachte wijn, met intense smaken van bessen en karakteristieke rozemarijn, tijm en tonen van bloemen. Daarnaast is Garrigue te ruiken in het glas. Washed a side by side section of my 2022 rv with poli prep and simple green. The comparison was tragic. Simple green definitely is a superior product. Don't waste your money.

Great cleaner for tough stains on fiberglass
This cleaner was recommended by a fellow boater. I was having difficulty cleaning some black streaks on the hull, and dark stains on the water line. After trying several excellent cleansers that have never failed me, I decided to give this one a try. It cleaned up the stains when used as directed and did not damage the finish on the gelcoat.
A good cleaner to have in your arsenal!

Good product.
I will probably give this product a better review when I use it in the spring. I have used it before and gave it 5 stars. Will have to see how it performs on prepping the surface of my motor home since I have "waxed" it with Poly Glo.

This will work but prep is key!
I have an older RV that the gelcoat has dulled and is oxidized, but otherwise in good shape. I have buffed and polished in the past only for it to last a short time. I was looking up different products to try and this one has such good reviews, I thought I would give it a try. I bought the kit with the Poliglow and the Poliprep, with the scrubber and the microfiber glove. I started with the poliprep and it did a great job of gettting the streaks and black marks off. You spend a lot of time scrubbing to your likeness because anything that is still on the gelcoat when you apply the poliglow, it will be locked in there. The Poliglow is like a clearcoat that goes over the gelcoat. You have to build up layers and here are some of the tips and tricks I figured out that really helped my finished RV look great. First, make sure the applicator stays damp, this keeps the poliglow more uniform across the glove. Also, stick it in a zip lock bag when not using, you do not want it to dry out while you are using it. I found out that applying this in direct sunlight in warm temps, is the best method. This allows the poliglow to dry really fast. The first 3 or 4 layers will look streaky and dull but this is ok and as you build up the layers, the shine will come back. I found if you do this when its cooler, the layers do not dry as quick and you will get some permanent streaking or running. I had to remove a section I did in the evening because I noticed this. When in direct sunlight, this gave me the best results with no streaking or running. It dries fast and you can keep working. Like it says, do not do big sections at a time, keep it to small what you can reach sections and build those up and move on. As far as how much to buy? I have a 40 ft toy hauler and I got to kits and I had just enough to finish the whole thing minus the nose cap. I have Durabak on the nose cap, so I dont need to worry about that. I ended up buying one more bottle of the poliglow to have for my maintenance coats. Overall, I am pleased with how my 10 year old RV looks and other than some of the decals show age, it looks new again. If I were to buy a new RV, I would put this on right away and preserve the whole RV including the decals. Its not too expensive and its a lot of work, especially the prep, but it does end up with great results.
