De Naam van God komt in het boek Esther niet één keer voor. Toch zie je er
duidelijk in dat God regeert. Uit Israël zál de Messias geboren worden, de
Heere Jezus Christus. Hij is dé Koning, Die Zijn kinderen onverdiend de
genadescepter toereikt. In een weg van omkomen, vanwege hun afkomst, mogen zij
ontkomen door Hem. Hij is het, Die hun ziel beveiligt voor de dood.
In dit boek brengt ds. Labee het leven van Esther en haar volk temidden van een
heidense cultuur dicht bij de (jonge) lezer. Van daaruit trekt hij lijnen naar
het alledaagse leven, maar ook naar Gods werk in het leven van Zijn kinderen.
Ieder hoofdstuk wordt afgesloten met gespreksvragen.

Great summer workbook!
Format: Paperback
So far an easy book compared to the Argo Summer Academy one that was too challenging. I don't like the way the pages are perforated they fall out of the book too easily. I feel like it is a good balance of keeping up skills already learned and softly introducing a little bit of challenge. I like how each day has math and reading. Easy to keep skills up with only 15 minutes of work a day.

Ideal for Summer Learning
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
The books are made of good quality and are durable for daily use. The pages are colorful, and the text is a good size for children to read. The instructions are clear and cover a wide variety of topics to reinforce children during the summer.
I would like for it to explain some concepts and not just be exercises. It includes answer sheets for all exercises, stickers to reward each day of exercise, and a diploma upon finishing the book. The exercises are designed for 15-20 minutes daily and are meant for children to review every day.
The pages are thick, so even if they use markers, it won't bleed through to the other side. I highly recommend them to avoid the summer gap when returning to classes.

Good book for summer!

I always get my son a workbook for that summer gap between grades, just so he doesn’t forget what he has learned and to get a little head start for the next grade. I usually get another brand but decided on this one and it is so great! Had the same exact material my son learned in second grade so it was easy for him to get in the groove of things and eases him into the next grade
