De stijve, met carbon versterkte tussenzool bevordert efficiënt trappen op linke etappes en beklimmingen. Daarnaast is het pedaalkanaal verbeterd met een verlengd ontwerp van teen tot hiel voor uitzonderlijke stabiliteit wanneer het SPD-pedaal is losgekoppeld. Het gelaagde EVA sponsschuim absorbeert schokken en verbetert in combinatie met de flexibele Torbal 2.0 tussenzool de controle over de fiets. Tot slot zorgt de plaatsing van het SPD schoenplaatje in de middenvoet voor maximale stabiliteit en controle, terwijl de neklijn van stretch mesh bij de enkel extra bescherming biedt tegen vuil en afval.
