Vandaag de dag heeft SopraSasso meer dan 84 hectare wijngaarden en maakt een hele reeks aan de mooiste wijnen. Met als topper deze koningswijn de Amarone Della Valpolicella. De wijn wordt gemaakt met alle tradities voor deze rode wijn. Dat wil zeggen dat deze rode wijn is gemaakt van de druiven Corvina Veronese en Molinara die allemaal opgroeien op de beste en oudste wijngaarden in Veneto. De oude wijngaard geeft inmiddels een prachtige volle oogst en alle trossen worden met de hand geoogst. Vervolgens worden de trossen als ware koningen behandeld. Ze worden letterlijk op bedjes gelegd waarna ze in huisjes worden neer gelegd. Deze droog huisjes zijn kenmerkend voor het landschap in Veneto. De druiven drogen in deze huisjes en verliezen een groot gedeelte van hun gewicht. Het sap wat overblijft na drie maanden drogen is ongekend vol en krachtig zoals u vast zult begrijpen. Deze techniek is genaamd appassimento en wordt altijd toegepast bij een amarone wijn. Na de persing ondergaat deze rode wijn ook nog eens een houtlagering op eiken houten vaten in de kelders van SopraSasso.Vol en zeer krachtig deze SopraSasso Amarone
Het is gewoon weg een feest, het begint allemaal al bij het open maken van deze fles. We ruiken een prachtige geur van zwarte kersen, pruimen en bramen. De smaak is fluweel zacht met zeer volle smaken van gedroogd zwart fruit en mooie toon van krentjes en vanille. Achter op de tong noteerde wij nuances van chocolade, koffie, karamel en ceder hout. Maar vooral is het een wijn om nooit te vergeten, heelrijk vol met zulke zacht smaken.Shipping Notes

poor quality product

very poor quality. The actual color is not as picture. more like being washed many times. the rope knots went loos almost immediately after a few play. The worst part is the so called "squeaky" whistle, you have to squees very hard to hear a little sound.

Very well made and sturdy

This toy isn’t quite indestructible but it is very sturdy and so far I’m pleased. I have a 5 month old who is a chewer and she has destroyed toys at a fast pace. It’s just the right size and weight for her to toss around, and I have thrown it in the washer inside a mesh bag once already. The fabric is soft, yet very strong. The only casualty to it was an ear. One had to be cut off once she had it partially chewed off. That’s a win in my book!

“Indestructible”? Not even close.

I bought this because it was advertised for large aggressive chewers and claimed to be indestructible. Unfortunately, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
My dog destroyed this toy in about two minutes. Seriously. It took me longer to get it out of the Amazon packaging and the manufacturer’s box than it did for my dog to rip it open. Once he got going, the seams popped and stuffing was everywhere.
Then I got the joy of cleaning up the mess, which took longer than the toy lasted.
If your dog is actually a strong chewer, this toy probably won’t survive very long. I wish I could recommend it, but honestly it just didn’t hold up at all.
Save your money and keep looking

UPDATE TO MY REVIEW / It's NOT indestructible!

UPDATE: I stand by my review for the original "Plush Toy". BUT ... the seller contacted me and offered to help, because they don't want their customers to be unhappy with their products. I described the problem, and they said they'd contact their supplier to correct things. AND ... they offered to send another dog toy that actually was indestructible.
My dog, a Border Collie - Retriever mix, loved the replacement they sent, an Orange Peanut. (He even took it to bed the first night.) This was much appreciated. But what I most appreciated was their Customer Service and Care. They don't just say they want their customers to be happy, they actually demonstrate it by their actions. This type of care is rare these days, and I commend them for it.
Notice I've changed my rating from 1-star to 5-stars, this is in recognition of their Customer Service. To me, this type of care is more important than any product.
So I now fully endorse this seller. If you have an issue with a product, just contact them (through Amazon), and they will do their utmost to make things right, and to make sure you're happy.

I bought this because it was described as "Dog Plush Toy for Large Aggressive Chewers, Indestructible Dog Squeaky Toy" (from their listing on Amazon). My dog is a Golden Retriever mix, and he's only a "medium size aggressive chewer". And yet, this toy lasted 10 minutes at the most.
Very disappointing ... save yourself a "dog toy heartbreak".

Not indestructible however not terrible. My strong chewer had quickly devoured the plush stomach and eaten the squeaker. But the rope parts and rough face pieces are holding up well. Not a disaster.
