Elke dag een koffietje of wat. En dan natuurlijk het liefst uit je eigen favoriete kopje. Niet te groot, niet te klein. Perfect voor mensen die nog steeds gewone filterkoffie drinken of een lungo toveren uit een automaat. De mok is van steengoed en is voorzien van een subtiel oortje dat lekker vasthoudt. Bovendien heeft het Tiiliskivi servies een extraatje: je voelt de voegen tussen de bakstenen (Tiiliskivi). Nee, niet het echte geribbelde van een cementen voeg, maar wel het reliëf. Net weer dat beetje extra hè, daarom houden jij en ik zo van Marimekko!

Het Tiiliskivi dessin

Dit dessin dateert uit 1952! Het is van de hand van Armi Ratia, oprichtster van Marimekko. Het baksteenpatroon is een uiting van haar geloof in de schoonheid van gewone dingen.

Mixen met je Marimekko Oiva servies

De basis van het Oiva servies van Marimekko is altijd hetzelfde. De vormen en formaten zijn altijd hetzelfde. De kleuren, dessins passen altijd wel weer ergens anders bij. Daarom kan je het zo fantastisch (blijven) combineren. Dit patroon gaat natuurlijk heel goed met veel van de andere Tiiliskivi kleuren en formaten, maar misschien combineer jij het wel met je Räsymatto servies met de stipjes. Het kan en mag natuurlijk allemaal!

Love denim and tired of cropped jackets?

I like this a lot, it was what I was looking for as far as I'm so over everything you buy these days is cropped. Cropped styles are great, but are kind of getting old for some things in my opinion. The jacket is big as far as how it fits. I am 5'8" about 180 and I wish I would have got a medium, I got a large. The large is big and roomy enough that I could even wear ear a thick hoodie under it if I wanted to. However, the length is good as what I was looking for. The upper arms are large. However, this is a great quality denim jacket. Nice and thick, sturdy material (which I wanted). It's also at a great, competitive low price even if it's not on sale. Don't believe me, go ahead and search jean jackets. You'll see a ton, but I looked too and the quality did not look as good as this and plus the other jackets were a lot more for a lot less. If you're looking for a longer jean jacket, I highly recommend this. I'd say just think seriously about sizing down 1... even maybe 2 sizes. I would have gotten an XL before I read the other reviews. They recommended to size down, and after getting my jacket I could have sized down to a medium. I'm still happy with it and this is a jacket that is stitched well and will last a very long time. As always though, that's just my 2 cents. :)
