Met dit handgebaar raakte hij de aarde aan en riep de Godin van de Aarde aan. Zij werd getuige van zijn transformatie en gaf hem de kracht om stand te houden. De aarde reageerde en de schaduwen van Mara verdwenen. Zo bereikte Siddharta de staat van volledige ontwaking, bekend als de Boeddha.
Het beeld is gemaakt van polyresin en met de hand beschilderd. Kleine mozaïek spiegeltjes zijn zorgvuldig ingelegd, wat het beeld een subtiele glans geeft.

The Essential Heat Press Tape for Perfect Sublimation!
