Non ha una grandissima acidità, che di solito sostiene tutti i vini bianchi. Di conseguenza si riduce la persistenza aromatica in bocca, che però si traduce in un invito a sorseggiarne ancora.
Si abbina con piatti a base di pesce, come risotti, carpacci o pesce al cartoccio. Per deliziare il palato, è consigliato con una grigliata di funghi porcini.
