Hoe gebruik je de theremin?
De Junior Theremin is een versie van het klassieke elektronische muziekinstrument, waarbij de toonhoogte wordt gecontroleerd door handbewegingen zonder het instrument zelf aan te raken. Je kunt kiezen tussen twee modi - continu en discreet. Wanneer je de batterij voor het eerst aansluit, staat de Junior Theremin in continue modus. Door beide drukknoppen tegelijk in te drukken, schakel je tussen de continue en discrete modus. In discrete modus, zoals de naam al doet vermoeden, worden individuele of discrete noten gespeeld in plaats van een continu variabele toon. Er zijn acht tonen in één octaaf aanwezig. In discrete modus veranderen de twee drukknoppen het octaaf van de tonen. De linker drukknop (gemarkeerd met -) verlaagt het octaaf, en de rechter drukknop (gemarkeerd met +) verhoogt het octaaf. Om het octaaf te verhogen of verlagen, moeten de drukknoppen ingedrukt blijven. In continue modus hebben de drukknoppen geen effect.
