De ASUS TUF Gaming VG32AQL1A is een 31,5 inch gaming monitor in het zwart die is ontwikkeld voor gamers die een groot scherm willen combineren met scherpe beelden en vloeiende gameplay. De QHD resolutie van 2560x1440 zorgt voor extra detail en meer overzicht in games, terwijl het Fast IPS paneel brede kijkhoeken biedt en kleuren consistent en levendig houdt, ook wanneer je niet recht voor het scherm zit. Het matte anti glare schermoppervlak helpt reflecties te verminderen, waardoor het beeld comfortabel blijft tijdens langere speelsessies.

Voor snelle en competitieve gameplay beschikt deze monitor over een maximale refresh rate tot 170 Hz via overclocking en een responstijd van 1 ms GTG. Hierdoor blijven bewegingen scherp en vloeiend, wat vooral merkbaar is in shooters en andere actiegerichte games. De ondersteuning voor variabele refresh rate via Adaptive-Sync, gecombineerd met AMD FreeSync Premium en NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, zorgt ervoor dat tearing en stotteren tot een minimum worden beperkt, ongeacht of je een AMD of NVIDIA videokaart gebruikt. Ook HDR content komt goed tot zijn recht, want de VG32AQL1A is VESA DisplayHDR 400 gecertificeerd en haalt een HDR piekhelderheid tot 400 cd per vierkante meter, met een typische helderheid van 350 cd per vierkante meter en een contrastverhouding van 1000:1. Hierdoor krijgen lichte details meer impact en ontstaat er meer diepte in games en video’s met HDR ondersteuning. Extra ASUS gaming functies zoals ELMB Sync en Extreme Low Motion Blur helpen bewegingsonscherpte verder te beperken, terwijl functies als GamePlus, GameVisual, Shadow Boost en GameFast Input je helpen om het beeld en de timing beter af te stemmen op verschillende game genres.

Qua aansluitingen is de monitor geschikt voor zowel pc als console setups, met 1x DisplayPort 1.2 en 2x HDMI 2.0. Daarnaast is er een USB hub aanwezig met 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A en een aansluiting voor een headset. De ingebouwde speakers van 2 watt per kanaal zijn handig voor dagelijks gebruik of wanneer je even zonder headset wilt spelen. Interesting take on the genre

True rating: 3.25 ⭐️ I enjoyed the fresh take on the genre. The best way I could describe the setting and world is an apocalyptic dystopian version of Farie where vampires, fae, and angles struggle to survive in what is left of the world. It was definitely interesting throwing the academy/hunger games aspect into this world as well. Even though I guessed the final reveal early on in the book, I kept hoping I was wrong, and it would take a surprising turn. While the "plot twists" were a bit predictable to me, I still enjoyed the ride this book took me on. Another downfall for me was the plot holes in the world building... I.E. if society has fallen and the world is in the aftermath of war, how are there trains running around the world? Just to take young adults to the trials to get into the golden city? How is the train maintained, the tracks clear, etc? However, I did enjoy the FMC & MMC and thought they were fleshed out nicely. I also enjoyed the side characters but wish some were developed more like Ashalin (sp?). I do find myself rooting for the MCs to succeed and find happiness together, which is obviously an important aspect for romantasy. Overall, was this an earth-shattering, mind-bending, terrific piece of literature? No. But was it the worst thing I've read this year? Also, no. This book has, to me, the bones of a great read & just needs a bit more to push it from an alright book to a great book. Overall ratings: Plot- 3.5⭐️ World building 3⭐️ Spice 2.5 🌶🌶 Main characters 4 ⭐️ Supporting characters 3.5⭐️

Firstly your introduced to Huntyr you see her closed off hard core badass than towards the end you see the most subtle change and growth it’s amazing and the enemies to friends to lovers was just perfect, AND THE TWIST AT THE END GOT ME GOOD! You see one spicy scene the whole book but it doesn’t even MATTER BECAUSE THE BOOK WAS THAT GOOD. I’ve read 85 books in 2023-2024 so far and I’m pround to say this is my all time favorite.
