De Basarin 2021 heeft een aromatisch profiel van kers, rozen, kruiden en fijne minerale ondertonen. In de mond is de wijn energiek, gespannen en precies, met stevige maar verfijnde tannines en een lang aanhoudende, minerale finale.
Vinificatie.
Handmatige oogst, gevolgd door spontane fermentatie en lange maceratie. De wijn rijpt 18–22 maanden in barriques (meestal gebruikt hout) voor structuur en verfijning. Daarna volgt flesrijping, die helpt de tannines rond en harmonieus te maken.
Het domein.
Basarin ligt op een historische heuvel tussen Neive en Treiso en staat bekend om zijn koele, elegante stijl. Sottimano gebruikt traditionele methoden, natuurlijke gistculturen en minimale interventie, waardoor de wijnen een pure uitdrukking van terroir en druif blijven.
