✔ Geschikt voor:

  • Het schoonmaken van Spaanse hammen, zoals het verwijderen van spek, schil en de harde buitenkant.
  • Kleinere snedes of het snijden van botvrij gemaakte stukken ham.
  • Gebruik als ondersteunend mes binnen een volledige jamón-set, naast een lang snijmes (jamonero) en uitbeenmes.

✘ Niet bedoeld voor het echte jamón snijwerk:

  • Hoewel dit mes zeer functioneel is, is het niet ideaal voor het snijden van plakken Spaanse ham. Hiervoor is een mes nodig met een:
  • Lang lemmet (25–30 cm) voor gelijkmatige bewegingen.
  • Flexibele structuur om mee te buigen met de ham.

Maximale controle voor ultradunne, sierlijke sneden – iets dat met dit kortere mes lastiger te bereiken is.

Kortom: een perfect mes om je jamón-voorbereiding professioneel aan te pakken, maar laat het echte snijwerk over aan een gespecialiseerd hammes.
