De familie Castellane is een van de oudste families van Frankrijk. De familie zou namelijk terug gaan tot de tiende eeuw. Het Champagne huis werd in 1895 gevestigd in Epernay. Het opvallende logo van het huis bevat een rood Andreaskruid, deze is door Vicomte Flores de Castellane gemaakt. Marketingtechnisch is dit en hele slimme zet geweest. Andreas was namelijk een beschermheilige, waar zeker toen der tijd veel aandacht aan werd gegeven. Dit champagnehuis bevat kelders met een lengte van 9 kilometer en een toren die symbool staat voor Épernay.Rijke smaak nuances van Commodore
Voor deze Commodore is een blend gebruikt van 45 procent Chardonnay, 30 procent Pinot Noir en 25 procent Pinot Meunier. De druiven ondergaan tweemaal een vergisting en een flesrijping in de kelders. Na de eerste vergisting heeft de wijn nog een bubbeltje en wordt in de fles gestopt samen met gistcellen en suiker. Hierdoor begint de tweede vergisting en die duurt ongeveer drie weken. De suikers worden dan omzet in alcohol en koolzuur. De gistcellen hebben ook na deze vergisting nog een functie, genaamd autolyse, waarbij de dode gistcellen in contact zijn met de champagne. Dankzij dit proces geeft het de champagne een aroma van vers brood. De champagnes rijpt tot slot 24 maanden op de fles, wat hem zijn verfijnde mousse (bubbels) geeft, maar ook rijke smaak nuances. In de geur heeft hij indrukken van wit fruit, amandel, brioche en licht mineralen. De smaak is deze Champagne voller en dikker dan de normale Castellane, mooie volle smaken en heel veel indrukken. Lots of slots to power devices all at once

Well made, good price, outlets precision sized so cords don't droop or fall out. Overall about as a compact as it could be. Enough power to plug into iPad and power phone, hearing aid charging box , and AA battery 4 slot charger.
Worth paying a little more for more slots.

Be aware of bad units being sold right now.

These USED to be a 5 star product from me, I've lost count how many I have purchased and included built into my products I manufacture. All of 2025 NO ISSUES at all, battle tested in the photo event industry buy some very large companies I have as clients. Come 2026 and the last two batch orders I have purchased I have had to replace 10 of them within a 2 month window, all for different customers because they stopped working in a short amount of time. Something happened in the Belkin manufacturing of these hubs in the past 3 months and I have lost my confidence in the stock that is available right now, I have moved to another HUB manufacturer for my products. I even tried calling Belkin quietly to make them aware of this issue and could not get anyone who cared that they had bad units being sold. So now it's to be very public about this issue and to let people know to be aware there ARE bad units in circulation of these hubs. ALWAYS have a backup on hand just in case! Sorry Belkin, you need to have a better process to receive feedback from other manufacturers that use your products in theirs. I hope I can regain confidence again someday.

This hubs got what I need and drives seem to mount right away.
Style: 5-in-1 USB-C Hub
Might be a little early to write this review. But, I feel like I keep buying these types of hubs and they never seem to have the right configuration for what I need. Two USB-Cs, Two USBs and an HDMI. Appreciate that the ports are all on the same side so I don't have a spider web of cables going in every direction. They all fit rather snugly. MOST IMPORTANTLY, every external drive and flash drive seems to mount right away.
I have had major frustrations over the years with external drives not mounting or taking forever to mount. I'm sure most of this is due to the failing drives themselves, but I have a sneaking suspicion the hubs are playing a role too, but I don't have the electrical engineering degree to prove it.
Anyway, so far so good with this one.
