Dupont-Fahn Meursault “Les Clous” 2024 is een elegante en karaktervolle witte Bourgogne die de rijkdom van Meursault mooi combineert met fraîcheur en precisie. In de neus komen rijpe citrus, witte perzik, appel en bloesem naar voren, aangevuld met subtiele tonen van hazelnoot, boter en een fijne krijtige mineraliteit. In de mond is de wijn rond en mooi geconcentreerd, maar tegelijk strak gehouden door frisse zuren en een duidelijke minerale lijn. De textuur is verfijnd en gelaagd, met voldoende diepte en spanning om gastronomisch breed inzetbaar te zijn. De afdronk is lang, zuiver en evenwichtig, met een mooie combinatie van rijp fruit, frisheid en finesse.

Vinificatie.
Les Clous is een perceel dat vaak zorgt voor Meursault met een mooie balans tussen breedte en spanning. De vinificatie gebeurt met veel aandacht voor zuiverheid en terroirexpressie, zodat het karakter van de Chardonnay en de herkomst centraal blijven staan. De wijn rijpt op houten vaten, wat extra textuur, diepgang en verfijning geeft zonder het fruit te overheersen. Het hout blijft ondersteunend en geïntegreerd, waardoor vooral de combinatie van rijpheid, mineraliteit en precisie naar voren komt. Het resultaat is een Meursault met klassiek volume, maar ook met voldoende energie en fraîcheur.

Het domein.
Domaine Dupont-Fahn is een familiaal domein in de Côte de Beaune, geleid door Raymond Dupont-Fahn. Het huis geniet een sterke reputatie voor witte Bourgognes die terroir, spanning en drinkbaarheid mooi combineren. De stijl van het domein is doorgaans precies en verfijnd, met veel aandacht voor balans, frisse zuren en een heldere expressie van het perceel. Ook wanneer de wijnen meer rijkdom en textuur tonen, blijven ze altijd gericht op elegantie en zuiverheid.

Op vlak van duurzaamheid werkt het domein met veel respect voor wijngaard en bodem. De nadruk ligt op nauwkeurige perceelopvolging, lage rendementen en een aanpak die de natuurlijke balans van de stokken maximaal bewaart. In zowel wijngaard als kelder wordt bewust terughoudend gewerkt, met zo weinig mogelijk overbodige interventies, zodat het karakter van elk perceel helder en puur in het glas naar voren komt. Die filosofie vertaalt zich in wijnen met precisie, spanning en een duidelijke link naar hun terroir.
