Over de auteur:
Josina Intrabartolo (1971) is journalist en tekstschrijver. Door haar drie kinderen is zij zich in het onderwerp hooggevoeligheid gaan verdiepen. Dit resulteerde onder meer in verschillende boeken voor hooggevoelige kinderen. Zij schreef onder andere de succesvolle Langmuts-serie, Draakje Vurig, Ridder Zeldenmoed en Fenne en het danskamp.

De hooggevoelige kabouter Langmuts vindt het leuk op school, maar wordt erg moe van lawaai en onverwachte dingen. Vanmiddag heeft de klas drukke spelletjes gedaan en nu wil hij eigenlijk naar huis. Als de kinderen buiten gaan spelen, trekt hij zich terug in de rustige poppenhoek. Dit prentenboek geeft op vriendelijke en begrijpelijke wijze informatie over hoogsensitieve kinderen en maakt de kenmerkende aspecten bespreekbaar. Het creëren van een stilteplek in de klas is de belangrijkste boodschap van dit tweede boekje met kabouter Langmuts in de hoofdrol. De zwarte pentekeningen van allerlei afmetingen zijn ingekleurd met waterverf. Ze zijn zacht en fris van kleur, vriendelijk en duidelijk. De tekst is gedrukt in een kleine, maar duidelijke letter en staat in blokjes naast, onder en boven de illustraties. De stijl is natuurlijk en positief.
