A6mani Concura Primitivo di Manduria Riserva 2020Vol, zwoel en onmiskenbaar Zuid Italiaans. In het glas diep donkerrood met een bijna ondoorzichtige kern. De geur is intens en rijp: gestoofde pruimen, zwarte kers en vijg, gevolgd door cacao, vanille en zoete specerijen. Een hint van balsamico en laurier geeft spanning en diepte. In de mond rijk en krachtig, maar verrassend beheerst. Rijp zwart fruit wordt ondersteund door fluweelzachte tannines en een warme alcoholtoon die mooi gentegreerd is.

Een Primitivo Riserva die niets te bewijzen heeft: geconcentreerd, comfortabel en verleidelijk. Perfect bij langzaam gegaard vlees, kruidige stoofgerechten of gewoon ’s avonds bij een goed gesprek. Nu al op dronk, maar kan moeiteloos nog een paar jaar rijpen.
