IJSLAND is geen land, het is een supergroep. Sef en Abel vinden elkaar, stoten elkaar af en vinden elkaar weer als geladen deeltjes, resulterend in een reeks kernexplosies. Puur op intuïtie werd IJSLAND 2, net als haar voorganger, binnen een week in elkaar gebeukt. Ook weer volledig geproduceerd door Antwerpse superproducer DJ Faisxl, IJSLAND's vijfde Beatle. IJSLAND 2 eist dat je bijna 50 minuten op het puntje van je stoel zit. Dat je lacht, dat je jankt, dat je schreeuwt. De plaat gaat over terreur, taart, complotten en teleurstellingen. Onder het mom ‘meer is meer’ wordt er geblikt noch gebloost om genres dwars door elkaar te mikken. Uiteindelijk levert dat een plaat op die zich laat omschrijven als intens, complex en overweldigend, en zo spiegelt ze de tijd waarin we leven. Het coverbeeld werd gemaakt door het fotografenduo Scheltens & Abbenes.
