Het klimaat van het wijngebied, in combinatie met de bijzondere ondergrond, levert wijnen op van uitzonderlijke klasse. Het koelste deel van de wijngaarden ligt bij San Francisco Bay, onder de directe invloed van de ochtendmist van de baai. Daar liggen ook de wijngaarden voor deze mooie pinot noir, omdat deze druif het beste gedijt in een wat koeler klimaat. Dat levert een krachtige en tegelijk fijne pinot noir op.
Klassiek wijnmaken, met een gisting op gistingsvaten die aan de bovenkant open zijn, wat voor pinot noir belangrijk is. Daarna rijpt de wijn op eiken barriques van verschillende tonneliers, deels Frans en deel Amerikaans, om zoveel mogelijk complexiteit aan de wijn te geven. Door een malolactische gisting op barriques ontstaat een prachtig huwelijk tussen hout en wijn.
Mooie verleidelijke geur, kersen en aardbeien, rokerig, toast, breed, zacht en rijp, mooie zuren en lichte tannine, puur, zacht, lengte, heerlijk pinot noir.
Mooie combinatie met grove paté, wildgerechten, reebiefstuk, kip en kalkoen, maar ook een mooie gegrilde varkenskarbonade.

Awesome Anniversary Gift
I got this for my husband for our 25th silver anniversary because it is partly silver. I think it is a beautiful watch especially for the price. I think he can wear it for everyday at work and not worry about breaking it or losing it and still look classy.

Nice watch

It’s a very nice watch. I usually wear a cheap watch and I don’t care if it gets scratched it also has the day and the time and the stopwatch feature but this watch is really beautiful and it looks very nice. The one thing I would recommend is that when you’re setting the watch, there are two ways to set the watch one is to pull the button out very slightly and that will set the day and the time the other is to pull the watch button out to two clicks, and that will set the actual hands. But I’d like my watch. It’s the nicest watch I’ve ever owned.
