Op zoek naar een stevige, smaakvolle rode wijn die je avond compleet maakt? Dan is deze Château Tronquoy uit de beroemde Saint-Estèphe streek in Bordeaux een uitstekende keuze. Hier proef je de klassieke Bordeaux-blend op z'n best, maar dan wel zonder dat de prijs de pan uit rijst.

De wijn is een mooie mix van Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot en Petit Verdot. Deze combinatie geeft een krachtige, maar toch ook elegante wijn. Je proeft tonen van donker fruit zoals cassis en bramen, met daarnaast wat aardse kruidigheid en een vleugje tabak. De tannines zijn aanwezig, maar heerlijk zacht – precies zoals je het van een goede Bordeaux verwacht.

Deze Château Tronquoy is perfect om te schenken bij een mooi stuk rood vlees, een wildgerecht of een stevige kaasplank. Maar ook gewoon zo, om rustig van te genieten, is hij heerlijk.
