    De AeroPress is vanaf de introductie in 2005 al favoriet in vele huishoudens. De AeroPress Premium upgrade deze naar glas en metaal! De unieke koffiemaker is nu te gebruiken door mensen die liever geen plastic willen gebruiken. Dit betekent helaas wel dat deze uitvoering niet meer makkelijk mee te nemen is op vakantie. De AeroPress is door zijn uitvinder Alan Adler bedacht om, zonder dure apparatuur, espresso te zetten. Wat hij waarschijnlijk niet voor ogen had was dat de AeroPress een complete 'cult-following' kreeg en er er over de hele wereld wedstrijden gehouden worden om de lekkerste koffie met een Aeropress te zetten! Wij zetten dan zelf ook met regelmaat een Aeropress, niet ter vervanging voor een espresso, maar voor een prachtige kop filterkoffie die de werelden van 'pour-over' en 'french press' met elkaar trouwt!


    Het succesverhaal van de AeroPress

    De AeroPress is bedacht in 2003 door Stanford-ingenieur Alan Adler en na 30 prototypes geïntroduceerd in November 2005 op Coffee Fest Seattle. Dankzij een perfecte samenkomst van eigenschappen is de AeroPress uitgegroeid tot een wereldwijd fenomeen onder koffieliefhebbers. Wat begon als een project om betere koffie te zetten, resulteerde inmiddels dan ook in meer dan een miljoen verkochte exemplaren en een eigen kampioenschap genaamd World AeroPress Championship.
