Jij bent de leider van een prehistorische stam. Jij beslist welke leden van je stam op jacht gaan en welke prooi ze willen vangen. Om je te begeleiden hebben de stamoudsten uitdagingen bedacht die je kunt voltooien door op de muur van je grot te schilderen.Elke ronde in Prehistories bieden jij en je medestamhoofden tegelijk (en in het geheim) om te beslissen wie waar gaat jagen. Hoe meer jagers je hebt, hoe groter het wild dat je kunt vangen, maar hoe langzamer je bent. De snelste speler - dat wil zeggen, degene met het kleinste aantal jagers - gaat eerst, maar die heeft weinig jagers om mee te jagen. Om te jagen, wijs je je jagers toe aan één of meerdere locaties om de prooi te vangen die daar wacht. De prooi wordt voorgesteld door polyomino-tegels, en hoe groter de tegel, hoe hoger de vereiste som. Als je net genoeg jagers hebt om je prooi te vangen, kunnen ze daarbij gewond raken, wat betekent dat je aan het eind van de ronde minder jagerskaarten trekt om je hand aan te vullen.
In de tweede fase van een ronde schilder je je grot met de diertegels die je tijdens de jachtfase hebt verzameld. Je grot wordt voorgesteld door een 7x7 raster dat begint met een paar tegels die al op hun plaats liggen. De eerste tegel die je plaatst komt in de linkerkolom, en alle volgende tegels moeten de reeds geplaatste tegels raken, waarbij alle tegels zo georiënteerd zijn dat de dieren bekeken worden met hun poten (of vinnen) naar beneden. (Holbewoners hebben een eenvoudige smaak en willen dat alles representatief is).
Als je de wensen van de Ouderen vervult door je grot op bepaalde manieren te beschilderen - zoals het voltooien van een horizontale lijn of het verbinden van tegenover elkaar liggende hoeken of het aan alle kanten omringen van een legendarisch dier - dan plaats je een of meer totemfiches op die uitdaging. Wie als eerste zijn acht totemfiches aflegt, wint.

Fun, engaging dog toy that keeps pets entertained, but battery life could be better

I’ve been using the ITEHZTO Interactive Dog Ball Automatic Dog Toy for my dog, and overall it’s been a great way to keep him active and engaged, especially when I’m busy or not able to play fetch. The different play modes are a nice feature, and the unpredictable movement really grabs his attention. It does a good job of encouraging exercise and mental stimulation.
The USB-C charging is convenient, and I appreciate not having to mess with batteries. The size is also good for small to medium dogs, and it feels durable enough to handle regular play.
The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the battery life doesn’t last as long as I expected, especially when using the more active modes. Also, on harder flooring it can be a bit noisy as it bounces around.
Overall, it’s a fun and useful interactive toy that my dog genuinely enjoys. With slightly longer battery life and quieter operation, it would easily be a 5-star product.

Great stimulation for a 'busy' pup

I’ll admit I was a little skeptical since my German Shepherd is well over the recommended weight limit for this ball, but it’s been a huge hit. Even though it’s technically for smaller breeds, it has held up remarkably well so far. I’ve mostly kept it on the gentle mode, and that’s more than enough to grab her attention and keep her occupied for quite a while. The design is actually much tougher than the warnings suggest; the two halves screw together so securely that she hasn't been able to pry it open, which is impressive for a tough chewer. It’s been a great way to keep her mentally engaged indoors without worrying about the toy falling apart immediately.

Recommended for Small, Mellower Dogs, not the destructive, chewy kind

My dog loved this ball, maybe a little too much. He attacked it like it was a wild animal and left teeth marks and tears in the outer plastic. I decided to give it to my cats instead, who initially were very intrigued by it. The buff kitty even chirped to see it. He would roll around with it as it vibrated and hopped, but after a while he wasn’t that interested. I think I can get them to play with it if I don’t use it with them every day, maybe wait a few weeks between playtimes. Perhaps it is a little too large for cats. My dog, who is less than 30 lbs., might be too big for it, or maybe just his mouth is, or maybe because he’s a Boston Terrier and he always feels like it’s his duty to destroy all toys (all my Bostons were like that). But I don’t think I will let him have it again. Maybe a toy breed or puppy might be more of the appropriate size for this ball. Or someone who isn’t as destructive.
The instructions are almost unreadable because the text is so small. I couldn’t understand what I was supposed to do with the “installation process.” I did figure out how to turn it on and off by myself, however. There are four modes when it is on: gentle, normal, active, and lighting only (no vibration).
As a human, it is a fun thing to watch, even if it is just for the light show.
