Het boek is prachtig geïllustreerd door Christine Majerus, voormalig profrenster en Olympiër, jarenlang actief bij het topteam SD Worx, waar ze ploeggenote was van onder andere Lotte Kopecky, Demi Vollering, Lorena Wiebes en Mischa Bredewold.

Na een indrukwekkende carrière waarin ze meerdere nationale titels voor Luxemburg won en deelnam aan vijf Olympische Spelen, richt Christine zich nu op haar andere passie: tekenen en verhalen tot leven brengen. Een fiets voor Muli is haar debuut als illustrator, waarin ze haar liefde voor fietsen en inclusie samenbrengt in warme, levendige illustraties.
