De tafel is zwenkbaar tussen -45° en +45° en 360° draaibaar. Daarnaast is de tafel voorzien van een olieopvang. De machine heeft een boordiepte aanslag en is uitgerust met een noodstop en nulspanningsschakelaar. Bij het openen van de riemenkast of wegdraaien van de boorkopbeveiliging wordt de voeding onderbroken.
De Contimac CH 18 F heeft een massieve, grote bodemplaat met T-groeven. Standaard wordt de machine geleverd met een hoogwaardige snelspanboorhouder (3-16 mm).
