The ProLine Plus Teleprompter with 12" High-Bright Monitor & Standard Glass from Prompter People is a flexible system with a 1000 cd/m² brightness monitor with HD-SDI, HDMI, and VGA inputs. The high brightness of the monitor allows it to be used in brightly lit studios or auditoriums as well as outdoors. The monitor has an auto-reversing feature that flips your prompting text so it's readable on the teleprompter glass. Thanks to this built-in capability, no complicated steps are required to reverse the text in the prompting software.
The ProLine Plus series of teleprompters are designed to be versatile and adaptable to your needs. The 65/35 low-iron, optical-quality beamsplitter glass can be vertically adjusted, and the tilt angle can be adjusted, allowing you to easily set it to the position most ideal for your camera and talent.
The prompter comes with a 15mm rail mount, which is a compact 15mm LWS rod support bracket. The rail mount attaches to the back of the prompter and allows you to secure the prompter onto 15mm LWS rods on your camera or camera cage. In this setup, it's the camera that gets mounted on a tripod, and the prompter simply attaches to the rods of the camera. Also, you can use the prompter handheld this way. Instead of mounting your camera on a tripod, just use it shoulder-mounted.
Alternatively, you can attach an optional tripod plate to the mounting threads on the bottom of the prompter, and then mount the prompter on a tripod. In such a setup, the rail mount on the back of the prompter will let you attach a camera with rails to the back of the prompter. This way, the prompter, not the camera, will be tripod-mounted. Additionally, free-stand and sled mounts are available sold separately for alternate mounting options. The optional free-stand mount lets you attach the prompter to C-stands, and a sled mount provides a platform for attaching your camera onto the prompter from the rear.
A Windows/Mac prompting software, the Prompter People Flip Q, is included, provided as a free download from the Prompter People website. A remote control is also included for controlling the scroll speed and other functions of the software from a distance. The ProLine Plus teleprompter sets up tool-free in just minutes, and it breaks down to about half its size for compact storage and transport.
