Met een gewicht van slechts 1465 gram, biedt de Flint maximale veiligheid tegen minimale last. Het ART 1 sterkte (veiligheids)niveau is vergelijkbaar met de Europese norm voor fietssloten EN 15496. Vanuit (Nederlandse) fietsdiefstalverzekeraars wordt een ART 1 goedgekeurd slot dan ook gezien als minimaal beveiligingsniveau waarmee een E-bike of bakfiets aan de vaste wereld moet worden vergrendeld, wanneer er een extra (2de) wordt geëist.
