De kaart laat goed zien dat de noordpool nog niet is bereikt (het noordelijkste punt dat Perry had bereikt staat op de kaart aangegeven). In het oceaangedeelte staat ook veel informatie. Te koop is een zeer grote antieke Franse kaart van Noord-Amerika met Mexico, de Verenigde Staten en Canada. De kaart laat goed zien dat de noordpool nog niet is bereikt (het noordelijkste punt dat Perry had bereikt staat op de kaart aangegeven). In het oceaangedeelte staat ook veel informatie. Onder andere zeestromingen en scheepsroutes. Zoom de foto's om de details van de kaart goed te zien. De kaart is met de hand ingekleurd en de kleuren zijn erg levendig.

Afmetingen: 60 x 82 cm. Antieke kaarten van zo'n groot formaat zijn zeldzaam.

Conditie: de kaart is in goede conditie. Er zijn wel wat tekenen van gebruik en ouderdom, maar die zitten voornamelijk in de marges. Rechtermarge heeft bruine vlekken. In rechtermarge zitten ook twee scheurtjes naast de middenvouw ( 2cm en 1 cm) aan linkerzijde van middenvouw zitten ook twee scheurtjes, die zijn slechts een paar mm. Middenvouw is niet volledig vlak. Verder is de kaart in goede staat.
