De nationale vlag van Suriname is de vlag van de Republiek Suriname. Hij werd officieel in gebruik genomen op 25 november 1975, bij de viering in het sportstadion van het bereiken van de onafhankelijkheid van het land. De vlag bestaat uit vijf horizontale strepen, van boven naar onderen in de kleuren groen (dubbele breedte), wit, rood (viervoudige breedte), wit en groen (dubbele breedte). In het centrum van de vlag bevindt zich een gele, vijfbenige ster.

Het rood symboliseert de vooruitgang en de strijd voor een beter bestaan; het wit staat voor vrijheid en gerechtigheid (vrede) en de kleur groen is symbool voor de vruchtbaarheid van het land. De ster symboliseert de hoop op een "gouden" toekomst oftewel, zoals scholieren wordt geleerd: eenheid. Volgens Surinames eerste president, Johan Ferrier, in Laatste gouverneur, eerste president (1975), is de positie van de punten nog onderwerp van debat geweest en werd ervoor gekozen twee punten omlaag te richten: 'met beide benen stevig op de grond'. There are plenty of mounting holes to choose from, so it is easy to screw it directly into a stud, or to just use holes that are convenient for you. It comes with a plethora of mounting hardware. I mounted mine a bit high up and chose to mount it upside down so that I wouldn't see the three screws that hold the shelf to the mounting bracket.

Great center piece for my gaming room

It’s quite large, but you can display a lot of your cool collectibles on it. It arrives in a nicely packaged box with instructions, although I found the instructions to be quite basic. Most people should be able to figure it out. Instead of following the instructions, I recommend forming the honeycomb structure on one side and then attaching it to your wall. Drill holes through the holes in the honeycomb, ensuring everything is level. Once the entire unit is assembled, one person can hang it on the wall. However, I suggest having a building partner. I attempted it alone and was straining my core while reaching on a ladder, which was probably not the wisest idea. The build quality appears to be very good, and I believe it will last for many years. The LED light colors are nice, though not as good as those on a razor, but they’re not bad for a third-party product. There are plenty of screws to install, with a couple of extra. Just for reference my computer screen in the g9 57 inch that’s how big this shelf unit is. Holds up to 120 lbs

Looks great, LED strip is a nice touch. The unit is relatively lightweight while still being quite sturdy.
