In het hart van de Côtes du Roussillon staat de wijngaard voor deze top rode wijn van Cazes genaamd Domaine du Grand Chêne. De oude wijngaard is uniek en staat aangeplant in een top klimaat. De wijngaard bestaat uit oude ranken en is omringt door prachtige olijf bomen. In deze beeldschone omgeving heeft de familie Cazes maar liefst tien jaar gewerkt aan hun top wijn. Na veel aansturingen en probeersels is het eindelijk zo ver, de geweldige Domaine du Grand Chêne rode wijn. Hij is opgebouwd uit de druiven Grenache en Syrah die opgroeien aan zeer oude ranken. Deze ranken hebben diepe wortels waardoor ze veel voeding kunnen opnemen uit de krachtige bodem. Ook speelt het klimaat een belangrijke rol bij het maken van deze rode wijn. De druiven krijgen namelijk veel zon uren maar ook de juiste verkoeling. De koelte is afkomstig van de wind die door de heuvels waait en de dalende nacht temperatuur. Hierdoor behouden de druiven hun frisheid en worden ze gelijkmatig rijp waardoor de oogst echt fenomenaal is.De beste wijn van Domaine Cazes
Elke wijnliefhebber weet dat de wijnen van Domaine Cazes bijzonder zijn, want al sinds 1997 zijn alle wijngaarden voorzien van het Ecocertificaat. Iets waar de familie trots op is want de natuur heeft de belangrijkste rol bij het maken van de wijnen. De resultaten liegen er niet om. Dit wijnhuis maakt een serie aan loepzuivere en heerlijke wijnen voor een bijzonder aantrekkelijke prijs. Deze rode wijn van Domaine du Grand Chêne is toch wel zeer bijzonder want tijdens het vinificatie proces wordt er geen gebruik gemaakt van sulfiet. Dit geeft deze rode wijn nog meer kracht en zuiverheid. De wijn rijpt totaal maar drie maanden in de kelders van Domaine Cazes om de frisheid en jeugdigheid te behouden.Hoe smaakt de rode Domaine du Grand Chêne?
In de geur noteerden wij indrukken van verschillende soorten rood en zwart fruit waarbij de bramen en kersen voorop staan. Wals even met het glas en je noteerd ook lichte kruiden en aalbesjes. De aangename geur prikkelt onze zintuigen om een slokje te nemen. Eenmaal in de mond geeft hij een betoverend gevoel van rijp zwart fruit, een beetje framboos, lichte kruiden zoals peper en nootmuskaat en daarbij wat pruimen jam. In de afdronk zeer vriendelijk en erg zacht. Maar deze rode wijn van Domaine du Grand Chêne is vooral loep zuiver.Shipping Notes

Elegant shelf, easy assembly!

I almost returned this because I didn’t think I could put it together, but the step by step picture instructions were easy to follow, and I assembled this in about 50 minutes, taking my time and also wiping down each wood piece so it would be ready to go once finished. This came packed very well and no parts were missing or messed up. It’s very elegant looking for being inexpensive and just what I needed budget wise and style wise. It is sturdy and beautiful and I like it very much and am glad I kept it, it is worth it!

Nice shelving unit
This is a nice addition to our home. It is space saving and looks nice with a few special art pieces on it for display. It is not very sturdy but we put some nice coffee table books in the bottom compartment. Problem solved! We are really enjoying the upgrade! Thank you!

My 2nd purchase
This my second purchase of this unit. I believe I rated my first one 4 stars. Unfortunately, this one gets 3 stars. It does go together quickly. And when assembled it does look nice. But, don't look close. Paint is super thin. And this unit was not "machined" quite as well. And one of the legs was split. Fortunately, I have a "handyman" that was able to use wood glue and a vice for a quick repair. I don't use this for "storage" per say, but more for my a display of my farmhouse antiques. When I purchase something, I do expect it to be in near perfect condition and not have to do a DIY home repair! With so many businesses closing on a daily basis, and more online shopping being done by consumers, the quality of online shopping needs to be paid attention to since there is no hands on visual. Value for what I paid...it could drop in price about 10 bucks. Would I recommend? I don't know. I just know that to box this back up and return it would have been a headache!

Great design for a kitchen sink organizer -- will not tip or accumulate water
We've had an Oxo kitchen sink organizer for years, and it's been fine, except 1) tall brushes (for example, Oxo brushes) make it tippy, stray elbows or imperfect placement of the brush would knock it into the sink and 2) it built up a soapy sludge in the bottom that that had to be drained and wiped down constantly. This item solves both issues perfectly.
Likes:
Size - I think it's about 5 inches deep, which is just right to fit the strip of countertop that runs behind the sink, up against the backsplash
Weight - The drying stone in the bottom gives the baskets some real heft, so there is no tipping it over by bumping a brush handle -- it really stays put
Drying stone -- The diatomaceous drying stone that slides into the bottom of the main basket is a great idea. These are porous stones that will absorb water and then allow it to evaporate fairly quickly. So far, it seems to be doing its job well. I'm sure the stone will need a wipe down now and then to stay clean, but no puddles of sludgy soapy water in the bottom is a big plus
Overall Design/Build quality -- The unit seems solid. It's a simple design, but there are no sharp edges or unfinished bits. Once in place it doesn't wobble a bit. I wasn't sure about the black powder-coated finish, but installed it looks clean and it's unobtrusive. I appreciate that the smaller basket for tall brushes sits on hooks and can be hung inside or outside the main basket. Ours sits inside, but there's plenty of room left over for sponges . And there's still room to stand up a bottle of liquid detergent or counter-top spray.
NOT SO LIKES
Nothing so far. I notice a lot of this style of sink organizer on Amazon, so presumably they're selling well. It's a great improvement over the older kinds.
Five big, clean, well-organized stars. Highly recommended.
