Cortenstaal is een hoogwaardige metaallegering, bestaande uit ijzer met toevoegingen van koper, fosfor, silicium, nikkel en chroom. Bij blootstelling aan de buitenlucht vormt zich een beschermende roestlaag, waardoor het materiaal niet verder corrodeert en jarenlang meegaat.

  • Cortenstaal brievenbussen zijn zeer sterk, slijtvast, weervast, onderhoudsarm en duurzaam.
  • Afsluitbare deur inclusief 2 sleutels.
  • Materiaaldikte van het cortenstaal is 1,5 mm.
  • Producten worden ongeroest aangeleverd. Het roestproces van cortenstaal duurt ongeveer 4-5 maanden, afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden.
  • Roest kan gefixeerd worden door het aanbrengen van Owatrol. Dit is een doordrenkend antiroestmiddel dat een beschermlaag tegen het roest vormt. Owatrol beschermt het product en zorgt ervoor dat cortenstaal niet meer afgeeft.
