De bodem is rijk aan kalksteen op goed doorlatende bodems, hierdoor ontstaat er een rijk terroir. Ook het klimaat speelt een grote rol in de wijnbouw. Dankzij de oostelijke ligging worden de wijngaarden door de hellingen in het westen beschermd tegen de wind. Daarbij is er een groot temperatuurverschil tussen dag en nacht, waardoor de kou in de nacht de warmte uit de wijngaarden jaagt. Chateau de Meursault kent een rijke geschiedenis en gaat terug tot de 11de eeuw. Vandaag de dag is het in handen van familie Halley die het in 2012 overgenomen heeft. En met de prachtige wijngaarden weten zij wel raad. Het landgoed bezit 60 hectare wijngaarden verspreid over verschillende dorpen in de Bourgogne. Ze bezitten vele eersteklas crus-wijngaarden, maar de druiven voor deze Clos du Chateau komen van een niet-beoordeeld perceel op het terrein.Handmatige oogst voor Clos du Chateau Chardonnay
De Chardonnay druiven worden zorgvuldig met de hand geoogst waarna ze ontsteeld en geperst worden. De wijnen worden zowel gerijpt in nieuwe eikenhouten vaten (ongeveer 35 procent) als in vaten van één of twee jaar. Na een rijping van 12-15 maanden worden de vaten vlak voor het bottelen met elkaar vermengd. Het resultaat is een Chardonnay die glanzend geel in het glas verschijnt. In zijn geur vol en romig met geel fruit en mineralen. De smaak is vol en krachtig met een mooie diepe smaak. Geen overheersing van houtaroma’s, maar een ondersteuning van de fruitaroma’s van grapefruit, citrusvruchten en tropisch fruit zoals ananas, perzik, kiwi en abrikoos, samen met lichte houtinvloeden door de rijping in houten vaten. The best

I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly one of the best daily moisturizers I’ve tried—especially for sensitive skin.
First thing I noticed is how lightweight it feels. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave that greasy or heavy film that a lot of “hydrating” lotions do. My skin feels instantly softer, but not suffocated. It layers really well under makeup too—no pilling or weird texture.
What really stands out is how balanced my skin has been since using it. I tend to get dry patches but also occasional breakouts, and this somehow helps with both. It hydrates without clogging pores, and I’ve noticed less redness overall. The fact that it contains ceramides and niacinamide is a huge plus if you’re trying to repair your skin barrier.
It’s also fragrance-free, which I personally look for because anything scented tends to irritate my skin.
The only small downside is the price point compared to drugstore moisturizers, but honestly, a little goes a long way and the quality makes it worth it.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this if you have sensitive, combination, or dry skin and want something simple but effective. It’s become a staple in my routine.

Moisturizing & repairs skin barrier, but does pill.

Given myself a couple weeks of consistent use before giving a review. There are a lot of pros to this product which include: moisturizing and stays moisturized all day, made my PIE marks (post acne marks) fade a lot faster. Repairs my skin barrier, especially while using tretinoin nightly, not too thick but thick enough to keep my face hydrated. It does not have a smell.
The cons are: slight burn for about 15 seconds but disappears, it pills if I apply too much. It does pill less if I pat it on my face versus rubbing; it does not pill when I apply liquid foundation. I just have to let it dry for 15-20 mins before applying makeup.
I found the pros to overpower the cons and will continue to use this product.

This is a very nice product. For the size it seems a bit expensive, but a little goes a long way and it may be a better value than I initially thought. My skin does look better, so it is doing it's job! I like the texture of it. It is fairly light, not oily, absorbs quickly into the skin, which I like. Highly recommend.
