The Spartan 3 is uitgevoerd met een dual-power spec. Deze spec is toegevoegd om te voldoen aan de ECE-R112 certificering. Op het moment dat de lamp op 100% aangesloten wordt is de lichtsterke te veel om binnen de grenzen van de R112-certificering te blijven. Op het moment dat de lamp in gereduceerd vermogen ingeschakeld is voldoet deze wel aan de normering. Officieel mag u dus het volle vermogen niet op de openbare weg voeren, enkel off-road. Het gereduceerde vermogen is wel gehomologeerd voor de openbare weg.
