Popsensatie Froukje heeft er de afgelopen tijd met hart en ziel aan gewerkt en nu is het moment eindelijk daar: op 12 januari 2024 brengt ze haar langverwachte debuutalbum 'Noodzakelijk Verdriet' uit. Op het album staan onder meer de tracks 'Als Ik God Was', 'Naar Het Licht' en de nieuwe single 'Houden Van Mij'. Die laatste verschijnt op 27 oktober. Froukje Veenstra is de afgelopen drie jaar als een komeet gegaan.

Ze is pas 18 jaar als ze zich begin 2020 met haar single 'Groter Dan Ik' in één klap profileert als een van de nieuwe beloften van de Nederlandse alternatieve pop. Vanaf dat moment is haar ster rijzende en inmiddels heeft ze twee Edisons (voor de EP's 'Licht en Donker' en 'Uitzinnig'), twee keer 3voor12 Song van het Jaar (voor de single 'Ik Wil Dansen' en 'Zonder Gezicht' met S10), twee 3FM Awards (voor Beste Nieuwkomer en Beste Artiest) en een Zilveren Notenkraker op haar naam staan. Ook stond ze op de hoofdpodia van onder andere Lowlands, Down The Rabbit Hole, Rock Werchter en Pukkelpop.

Hard to keep on the shelf
Yesyesyesyes Imo it's the perfect male equivalent of a Honeypot wipe. It's also rock solid for drying out oily skin but to me it's kind of expensive to use it like that. Easily my favorite out of all the Thayers tonics. The serum is also really good for converting red patches into poppable pimples which then just leave, and the sulfur cream is just invaluable as a leave-on make-up/healing combo. Thayers is good stuff man. It's a billion times healthier than benzoyl peroxide or adapalene and even SA is pretty rough on the skin in therapeutic doses. Thayers does such a good job of balancing herbs and gentle chemicals to provide a uniquely safe yet effective remedy, across the board. The only thing that was a genuine flop from them for me was the rosewater tonic, which smelled like God.

I have been using this product daily for just over two years. It’s one of those things that you just put into your daily routine and sort of forget about it. I usually don’t expect to see a huge improvement with any product. I wondered, how could this be? The only change that I made was adding this product to my routine a little over two years ago. There is an actual noticeable difference. Now, I realize that my experience is nowhere near proof beyond all doubt, however, I’m not taking any chances. I will continue to use this product daily. It’s relatively inexpensive and my results have been great.

Game changer!!
This stuff is amazing! I bought it because there was somewhat of a trend online saying glycolic acid is great for girls with sensitive skin. I’m inclined to agree because I have very dry, sensitive skin and this product works very well on my face and my legs (post shave). This is meant to lightly exfoliate the skin, so if you’ve just shaved your face or skin, a day later, this is great to put on to help prevent any irritation. Also, this is good for dry skin! When I have some dry patches on my face, I buff the dead skin off very gently but thoroughly. Then I use this toner to help prevent it from coming back. I was skeptical this would work because my skin is so extremely dry sometimes, but it really works! It was perfect for doing my makeup with. I use it every once in a while if I need any extra exfoliating. Do bear in mind, though, it smells really bad. I think it’s the witch hazel or something, but the product by itself smells quite gross. Definitely put lotion on a few minutes after it absorbs into the skin. This is a great product and I’m very happy with it. 10/10 when used wisely.
