Wanneer u de rode NOOD-knop aan de onderkant van het AIS-transponder ingedrukt, verzendt het apparaat een AIS SART-bericht, dat door alle AIS-apparaten in de omgeving kan worden ontvangen.
In geval van nood biedt de KS-200A+SART een belangrijke aanvulling op een noodoproep via de marifoon, zelfs als u al een DSC-marifoon heeft met een 'distress-knop':
- Eenvoudig door ieder bemanningslid te verzenden: één druk op de knop!
- Er wordt direct een exacte positie van uw schip uitgezonden.
- Schepen in de buurt zien uw positie als een duidelijk symbool op hun kaartplotter, en kunnen zo sneller koers zetten naar uw positie.
Het gebruik van de NOOD-knop vervangt echter nooit de verplichte noodprocedures via de marifoon (GMDSS).
De KS-200A+SART is een robuuste Klasse B+ (SOTDMA) AIS transponder die uw positie en scheepsgegevens uitzendt en tegelijkertijd gegevens van andere met AIS-uitgeruste schepen in de buurt ontvangt. Deze informatie wordt vervolgens via NMEA2000, NMEA0183 of Wi-Fi naar een extern display gestuurd.
De sterke punten van de ONWA KS-200A+SART:

Dankzij de ingebouwde Wi-Fi kan de AIS-informatie eenvoudig worden weergegeven op een tablet of smartphone met populaire navigatie-apps, zonder extra hardware of complexe netwerkconfiguratie. De WiFi hotspot wordt ook gebruikt voor de configuratie van de AIS gegevens.

Installatie
Om AIS informatie te kunnen zenden/ontvangen is een GPS-antenne en een VHF-antenne noodzakelijk. Door gebruik te maken van een zogenaamde Splitter kun je de VHF-antenne van de marifoon ook voor de AIS gebruiken. In dat geval zijn ook enkele korte RG-58 kabeltjes nodig. Zie het schema in de afbeeldingen.
Verschil met AIS-SART
Wanneer een reguliere AIS-transponder is uitgerust met een speciale SART-knop (ook wel een "noodknop" genoemd), moet het apparaat aan verschillende EU-eisen voldoen.
Er is echter een belangrijk onderscheid: een AIS-transponder met een noodknop is geen vervanging voor een officiële AIS-SART, omdat een transponder vast aan het schip gemonteerd zit en niet mee de reddingvlot in kan.
Als de transponder een specifieke noodfunctionaliteit heeft, gelden de volgende eisen:
- Berichtformaten: Het apparaat moet in staat zijn om specifieke AIS-berichten uit te zenden, zoals AIS Bericht 14 (veiligheidsgerelateerde tekstberichten).
- Identificatie: In tegenstelling tot een losse AIS-SART (die begint met '970'), gebruikt de transponder het eigen unieke MMSI-nummer van het schip.
- Bediening: De knop moet zo ontworpen zijn dat onbedoelde activering wordt voorkomen (bijv. door een beschermkapje of door de knop lang ingedrukt te moeten houden).

Practically 1:1
This kit is pretty much the same quality you would expect if you ordered directly from Eufy, excepting the HEPA filters which are *slightly* larger, and kind of weak compared to the originals. Aside from the filters, though, these are all very high quality parts, and practically indistinguishable from anything you would get directly from the manufacturer.
I went all in with these and replaced all of the original parts with these in one go a few weeks ago and the C10 is performing just as well as it did with the original parts. The size is spot on, the roller brush has the exact same functionality (unlike the ones I had ordered in the past for my 15C which scuffed up the unit), and the dust bags are functioning just like the originals, as well. I stuck the included cleaning brush off to the side in the base, and I use it to clean the unit every time I clean the HEPA filter.
Honestly, you really can't beat this value, these are great quality, and so much cheaper than the original parts.

Great Value Replacement Kit for Eufy C10

This really sucks!
This vacuum is awesome. It is replacing my old Shark which finally could not connect to the WiFi anymore. This has stronger suction power, even on just the standard power, not even turned to turbo. The little tower on top of it prevents it from going under only a few items in my home. But it is nice that it doesn’t bang into walls to turn around. It comes up to an item, slows down and then turns.
I did have to set up two no go zones, which is very easy to do once I figured it out on the app. Because it got stuck up under my headboard one time so I made that a no go zone. Our bed sits very low to the ground with only about 3 inches so you can’t really get under it.
I like the bag dump system versus the old vacuum I had which you just pushed the button and all the dust went into the trashcan blowing half of it up in your face at the same time. So this is very nice.
I have had this a few weeks now and I did look at a YouTube video on how to navigate the app. It does so much more than my old vacuum did and it really is nice. The noise is not any louder than the other one. This one stays longer to empty on the base because it also has a little cutter that cuts the hair out of the roller. This is great because of dog hair that would continually get trapped on my old vacuum.
I think this vacuum is well worth the money which some of the others were so much more expensive. Battery life seems to be about right for the amount of time that it vacuums and then of course it goes to recharge and comes back out to finish the job. The mapping is awesome and is very detailed, and you can even see where the vacuum is on the map and watch it moving if it is rolling at the time. This comes in very helpful if it is stuck somewhere.
I definitely recommend this vacuum. We named her Berta for the maid on “Two and a Half Men”.
