Het in water oplosbare granulaat Maggots is een groeiregulator voor de bestrijding van vliegenlarven en muggenlarven. Het kan direct op de mest worden gestrooid, of verdund met water worden gesproeid of gespoten. Maggots is geschikt voor gebruik in een breed scala van situaties, voornamelijk in melkvee- en kalverhouderijen, zeugenstallen en vleesvarkensstallen, pluimveestallen, schapen- en geitenstallen, paardenstallen, vuilnisbelten en afvalcontainers.

De actieve stof, Cyromazine, interfereert met de chitinestofwisseling van het insect. Dit leidt tot vertraagde larvale groei, onderbreekt het vervellingsproces en voorkomt verpopping. Behandelde larven vervellen niet de volgende fase en daarmee is de cyclus van de vliegen onderbroken.

Maggots kan worden aangebracht door droog uit te strooien of op te lossen en aanbrengen door middel van sproeien of gieten. De toepassing hangt af van het vochtgehalte van de mest.

    • Het product wordt aangebracht door droog uit te strooien op roosters met natte mest zoals varkens en rundermest. Strooi 250 gram homogeen over 10 m².
    • Maggots aanbrengen door middel van spuiten en sproeien op droge mest zoals strooisel, droge pluimveemest enz. Verdun 250 gram in 1 - 4 liter water om te sproeien over 10 m² of verdun 250 gram in 10 liter water om met een gieter te verdelen over 10 m².
    • Het aanbevolen behandelingsinterval is afhankelijk van management- en huisvestingssystemen en van het klimaat (temperatuur, vochtigheid, enz). Het kan variëren van 2-3 weken tot enkele maanden. De algemene aanbeveling is om de behandeling te herhalen na elke mestverwijdering (diepstrooisel) of na het schoonmaken van de stal of wanneer vliegenlarven worden gevonden.
    • Combineer het gebruik van maden (larvicide) met een volwassen bestrijdingsmiddel voor vliegen zoals Alphi om een totale bestrijding van vliegen te garanderen.
    • Actieve stof: Cyromazine 2%

The inner side is very soft. It's comfortable to use, and for us, did not trigger any sensory issues. It's got a decent weight for a throw, but isn't obnoxious about it. This throw is enough to keep warm without overheating. At the current price of $39.99, it seems like a good deal. I did remove 1 star for the weird coating, but will update as appropriate.

Quality Faux Fur Throw

This blanket is nice and soft. It's an off-white color with one side being faux fur and the other being smooth. It is packaged tight but once unfolded it fluffs out nicely. I have another blanket made by this company and those blankets wash well, although I haven't had this one in the wash just yet. I tend to let the other faux fur blankets I have air dry and that usually works fine. I would caution against high heat on these. Ideally if you follow the cleaning instructions you should be fine though. The cost is on par with most box stores, decent value for what it is. It isn't super heavy and makes a nice throw for various scenarios. It does have a false leather patch on the front side which I am not a huge fan of. That sort of takes away from the authentic fur feel, but it isn't a huge drawback. I show that in one of my photos. Feels nice and cozy and would make a nice book nook blanket or chair covering. No chemical smells or anything like that. Overall very pleased with the product and I definitely recommend this brand from this and prior purchases.
