Dit product bevat 90 μg vitamine K2 in de vorm van menaquinon-7 (MK-7). Vitamine K2, ofwel menaquinon (afgekort MK), komt voor in diverse vormen waarvan de meest bekende MK-4, MK-7, MK-8 en MK-9 zijn. Het getal dat genoemd wordt achter ‘MK’ verwijst naar de lengte van de zijketen in het molecuul. Volgens de huidige wetenschappelijke stand van zaken is menaquinon-7 (MK-7) de meest effectieve vorm van vitamine K2. MK-7 wordt uitstekend opgenomen en blijft zeer lang in het lichaam aanwezig om werkzaam te kunnen zijn, dankzij de lange halfwaardetijd. Vandaar dat het mogelijk is om met MK-7 te kunnen volstaan met relatief lage doseringen voor een optimale werkzaamheid.
K2VITAL™ DELTA van Balchem
Vitamine K2 staat erom bekend dat het zeer instabiel is. In combinatie met mineralen of bepaalde hulpstoffen kan het gehalte vitamine K2 in een product snel afnemen. Dit is natuurlijk zeer onwenselijk, omdat je een supplement gedurende de volledige houdbaarheidstermijn wilt kunnen bewaren. De Noorse producent Balchem heeft een vitamine K2-grondstof ontwikkeld die zeer goed beschermd is tegen invloeden van buitenaf. Door middel van een gepatenteerd micro-encapsulatieproces wordt de K2 volledig omhuld, waardoor de stabiliteit zelfs in producten met agressieve mineraalverbindingen gegarandeerd wordt. Trans-vorm versus cis-vorm
MK-7 komt voor in twee vormen (isomeren), de natuurlijke trans-vorm en de synthetische cis-vorm. Het lichaam kan alleen omgaan met de natuurlijke trans-vorm, zoals MK-7 ook in voeding voorkomt. De trans-vorm wordt door wetenschappers dan ook beschouwd als de enige biologisch actieve vorm van MK-7. De cis-vorm daarentegen komt niet voor in de natuur en is niet effectief, en zou mogelijk zelfs voor een onnodige belasting van het lichaam kunnen zorgen. Dit product van Vitals bevat voor meer dan 99,7% de natuurlijke trans-vorm.
Bronnen van vitamine K2
MK-7 wordt aangemaakt door bepaalde bacteriën tijdens fermentatie en komt van nature vooral voor in natto, een Japans gerecht dat bestaat uit gefermenteerde soja. Natto heeft een sterke, karakteristieke smaak en is daarom niet zo populair in de westerse keuken. Andere menaquinonen, zoals MK-8 en MK-9, komen in kleinere hoeveelheden voor in met name kwark en harde kazen.

Gebruik
1-2 capsules per dag bij een (vetbevattende) maaltijd met ruim water innemen of zoals geadviseerd.Let op:De vitamine K in dit product maakt het niet geschikt bij gelijktijdig gebruik van coumarinederivaten (antistollingsmiddelen zoals acenocoumarol en fenprocoumon). The wood is great.
I used to use a typical padded wrist pad, but am a heavy sweater. Upon reading another review in regards to that matter I decided to take the plunge on this rest. I have been a user of the Model O mouse from Glorious for a while and liked it so I trusted the company's reputation for taking gamers' needs into consideration.
After using it for about a week and playing different types of games/working from home on it, I can say that although your sweat might pool during sweaty moments, it's easy to wipe off and doesn't seem to easily absorb into the wood.
The wood itself is of a nice quality, I like the oak over the onyx for a more "real wood" look. There was no difference in comfort for me, you'd think being used to a padded wrist this shift would be "hard" on me, but no, I haven't had any problems. It's ergonomics for typing are also good as I notice my WPM and consistency be higher on multiple tests.
All-in-all quite satisfied with the purchase, fits the aesthetic, feel, and ergonomics I was looking for.

Very well made, matches width of Keychron Q6 perfectly, great for bigger hands!
This is a nicely finished slab of wood that is an EXACT match for my Keychron Q6 in both width and height. Depthwise, this is 4", so if you got larger hands (as I do), this is a bit better than the silicone Keychron version which I believe is 3.5" or so in depth. The non-stick feet are a nice feature, and the profile is wonderful to type on. Only issue with the item I received is a small nick right below the Glorious emblem on the lower right of the wrist rest - may have been an errant tool mark. However, this doesn't detract in my own opinion, from the well-designed profile and features of this wrist rest and was easily covered with a furniture marking pen. I'm still giving this item 5-stars and getting another one for the office!

Glorious Wooden Palm Rest Durability and Stability in an Elegant Design

After years of using foam palm rests, I always encountered the same problem: they deformed over time, losing height, ergonomics and, consequently, their usefulness. This is especially critical when you spend between 3 and 8 hours a day at the PC for work, study or gaming, since a bad posture can increase the risk of suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome.
This is where Glorious' wooden palm rests come in, a solution that eliminates deformations and offers an ideal height for both the mouse version and the TKL (Tenkeyless) version.
Positive points
• Solid and durable construction: Unlike foam, wood maintains its shape and provides stable support over time.
• Elegant and minimalist design: Its finish gives a premium touch to any setup.
• Effective non-slip base: The bottom rubbers prevent unwanted movements, providing total stability.
• Easy maintenance: Although wood is slightly porous and can retain natural oils or residue from creams and perfumes, cleaning it is easy.
Areas for improvement
• Less softness than foam: Although still comfortable, wood sacrifices some of the cushioned feel that some prefer. A redesign with a foam strip on top could improve this.
• Inconsistent finish between versions: I bought the mouse rest and the TKL at the same time, but noticed that the color tones were different (one blacker than the other). It doesn't affect functionality, but it does affect aesthetics.
If you're looking for durability, stability, and a sophisticated design, this is a highly recommended palm rest, especially if you find it on sale. Although it's not as soft as the foam ones, it does its job of providing ergonomic support exceptionally well. An excellent complement for those who spend long hours at the PC and are looking for a sturdier alternative to traditional palm rests.

great mouse rest
Color: Golden Oak, Size: Mouse Wrist Rest
This works really well for for elevating your wrist, I use an apple trackpad it puts my wrist a little too high so what I did was put some rubber pads on the back of my trackpad to raise it up. It now gives the perfect height and good support I can even lean on it. It works well to the fact that it gives you very good support it's not uncomfortable and it's very easy to clean and looks very nice on my desk, because it's made out of real wood.

Great wrist rest. Smooth finish, good looks, and ideal wrist angle.
This wrist rest sets you up for pretty optimal, level height to prevent future wrist problems. I went with the nice reddish/brown color as it matches my brown wood Edifier speakers and other brown accessories very nicely. Nice matte finish that avoids showing finger prints and skin oils. The color is perfect, not too red or too brown.
Keep in mind if your keyboard is angled in the front it will leave a bit of a gap, however it is unnoticeable to me. Also, make sure your arm rests of your chair can come high enough to meet the half inch or so thick wrist rest. My arm rests are a bit low for the time being so some extra pressure is put on my arm behind the wrist when resting on the chair supports.
