Andro Dunos II is een klassieke side-scrolling shoot-’em-up waarin je in een futuristisch gevechtsvliegtuig vecht tegen golven van vijanden en eindbazen. Als spirituele opvolger van de originele arcadegame uit 1992 biedt deze 3DS-versie snelle actie, retro-stijl graphics en een op combo’s en power-ups gebaseerd wapen­systeem.

Je kunt tijdens het spelen wisselen tussen vier verschillende wapens, die elk te upgraden zijn. Elk level kent zijn eigen visuele thema’s en eindbaas, met een toenemende moeilijkheidsgraad.
